It doesn't look like it's going to happen for Los Blancos here. Their fans are doing their best to catalyse the start of a comeback but Atletico seem like they are going to see this one out!
89'
Three minutes of stoppage time is to be played. This would be such a massive, MASSIVE, win for Atletico here. Would this result signal the end of the duopoly at the top of the table in La Liga?
88'
C. Rodríguez enters the game and replaces A. Turan.
87'
Raúl García enters the game and replaces David Villa.
The Atletico manager follows this up with another double substitution as Raul Garcia and Cristian Rodriguez replace Arda Turan and David Villa. Some fresh legs will definitely help the cause!
86'
First change of the match from Simeone as the magnificent Diego Costa is replaced by Leo Baptistao. The former looks knackered as he leaves the pitch.
85'
Léo Baptistão enters the game and replaces Diego Costa.
84'
ALVARO MORATAAAA!!!! WHAT A SAVE FROM COURTOIS!!! Khedira clips a cross to the back post and the substitute sends a sensational bicycle kick towards goal, but the on-loan Chelsea 'keeper gets across goal to beat the attempt away!! ATLETICO HANG ON!
82'
KOKE HITS THE BAR!!! The ball breaks to the Atletico man inside the area and he leaves Khedira for dead before curling wonderful strike towards the top corner, but his attempt cannons off the woodwork! That would have been some goal!
80'
Pepe gets yellow.
Diego Costa makes an excellently timed run down the wing and looks to break inside. He nicks the ball past Pepe and ends up earning a free kick out of the Portuguese. Brilliant play again from the Brazilian!
79'
The Santiago Bernabeu faithful are getting extremely restless now, and no wonder. They aren't used to being defeated by their bitter rivals from across the city in La Liga!

Description
77'
Arbeloa gets yellow.
Diego Costa has really been a thorn in the side of Pepe and Sergio Ramos tonight. He has chased down absolutely everything and hasn't gave them a moment's peace. A warrior.
75'
Last throw of the dice from Carlo Ancelotti as Alvaro Morata enters the fray in place of the disappointing Karim Benzema.
73'
Álvaro Morata enters the game and replaces Isco.
For all Madrid's possession in the second period they really haven't created a lot in the final third, which is mostly due to Miranda, Godin, Koke, Tiago, and Gabi, who are stifling every attack.
71'
Atletico have been impressive tactically here. They clearly came across the city to keep it tight at the back and his their rivals on the counterattack, and it's worked.
69'
MODRIC!!!! SO UNLUCKY!! Ronaldo hits a dipping shot from outside the box and Courtois can only parry it back into the danger area. The ball falls to the Croatian who volleys towards goal but his attempt whistles by the post!
67'
Sergio Ramos gets yellow.
Real Madrid need to improve massively if they are going to get anything out of this game here. Courtois has been one of the quietest players on the pitch tonight, a true showing of how limp the hosts have been in attack.
65'
Unlucky from Bale!! The former Spurs man receives the ball out right and cuts inside on his left foot. He hits a wicked strike towards goal but Courtois makes a comfortable save at his front post.
64'
Ohhhh that is WILD from Ronaldo! He runs up to take the set-piece and blasts the ball with venom so high over the bar!
63'
PENALTY SHOUT FOR MADRID! WAIT, NO! IT WAS OUTSIDE THE BOX! Filipe brings down Bale and the Welshman is asking for a spotkick, but the referee correctly gives just a free kick.
61'
Filipe Luís gets yellow.
DIEGO COSTA MISSES ONE-ON-ONE!!! The Atletico man breaks the offside trap and runs through on goal, but is foiled by Diego Lopez, who makes a superb save with his feet! WHAT A CHANCE THAT WAS!
59'
Good idea from Tiago but it just doesn't come off. Diego Costa does brilliantly to scoop the ball out to his team-mate whilst on the deck and the Portuguese looks to return the favour with a neat backheel, but it runs through to Diego Lopez.
57'
The Atletico players have been guilty of going down to easy at points in the game. Filipe is the latest culprit as he lies down on the floor after a collision with Sergio Ramos. Even Simeone is urging his man to get up off the deck.
55'
A slightly tense opening 10 minutes to the second half in Santiago Bernabeu. Bale and Modric are yet to make much of an impact and the bit of the first half has waned slightly.
53'
Luka Modric is lucky to escape a booking as he goes in with the studs up on Gabi. The referee is lenient on this occasion and only gives a free kick.
51'
Great play from Diego Costa as he gets in between Pepe and Sergio Ramos before attempting a half-volley towards goal. The Madrid captain puts it out for a corrner and Costa has earned something out of absolutely nothing there.
49'
Diego Costa gets yellow.
Diego Costa is the latest player to go into the book. The referee gives a foul for a high foot on Sergio Ramos and the Brazilian talks his way into getting a yellow.
48'
Carlo Ancelotti has moved swiftly to change things, and has introduced Luka Modric and Gareth Bale in place of Di Maria and Illarramendi. A Bernabeu bow for the Welshman!
46'
G. Bale enters the game and replaces Á. Di María.
L. Modrić enters the game and replaces Illarramendi.
We are back under way in Santiago Bernabeu!
45'
Ronaldooooo! Just over! Di Maria whips in yet another excellent cross from the right and once again his efforts are in vain as the chance is wasted by a team-mate. The Portuguese this time nods an attempt over the bar.
43'
Koke gets yellow.
It looks like Diego Lopez kicked Diego Costa in the back during that melee! He's arguably lucky to still be on the park!
41'
REAL MADRID ESCAPE!!! Godin rises high inside the box and powers a header at goal that is saved by Diego Lopez! Diego Costa looks to turn in the follow up but a scramble ensues and the hosts somehow manage to clear the ball out of the box!!
40'
Fábio Coentrão gets yellow.
39'
That is swiftly followed by the first Real Madrid yellow card. Coentrao goes into the book for a deliberate handball down the left flank.
38'
A. Turan gets yellow.
Not a good couple of minutes for Arda Turan. A missed opportunity a few moments ago and now a yellow card for a poorly-timed tackle on Ronaldo down the left wing.
37'
Just over from Arda!! Diego Costa gets to the byline and lifts a cross to the edge of the box. The Turk lashes a left-footed volley at goal but it goes north of the crossbar!
35'
Ohhh, apologies top Diego Costa! Replays show that he has a massive gash down the left-hand side of his shin! Looks a sore one but he'll be okay to continue!
33'
A small break in play at the moment as Diego Costa is currently down injured. The Brazilian was involved in a scuffle with Arbeloa and has went down clutching his leg, there didn't look to be a lot in it though.
31'
A few late challenges go in in midfield as Tiago and Gabi both go to ground inside the centre circle. Atletico look a little flustered at the back but they eventually manage to clear up the park and escape danger.
29'
TIAGOOOOOO!!!! IT SHOULD BE 2-0 ATLETICO!!! Isco goes to sleep on the edge of the box and the Portuguese runs in totally unmarked to get on the end of a corner kick, but sends his header over from 10 yards! What a golden opportunity spurned!
27'
BENZEEEMAAAAAA!!! JUST WIDE!! The Frenchman breaks away to the back post and gets on the end of a cross, but sends his header the wrong side of the post! Juanfran put him under a bit of pressure, but he should have done better!
25'
Filipe receives a telling off from the official as he just leaves his mark on Ronaldo with a late challenge down the wing. No booking this time for the Brazilian, but he'll likely get a yellow card for his next poor tackle.
23'
SAAAAAAVE BY COURTOIS!!! Di Maria whips a cross to the back post and Benzema gets in front of his marker to glance a header at goal, but the Atletico 'keeper manages to get down to his right and smuggle the ball out for a corner!
21'
Illarremendi hasn't had the best of games so far. The 23-year-old has seen some of the ball in midfield areas but he has struggled to find a team-mate in white, and there has been a couple of attacks that have broke down because of it.
19'
Whoa that is soooo wayward from Ronaldo!! The former Manchester United man skips past a couple of challenges and looks to blast a strike at goal, but his left-footed attempt goes high and wide! Signs of frustration in that one for sure!
17'
Some dodgy defending again from Madrid! Arbeloa is caught far too far up the park and Filipe looks to run in behind down the left-hand side, but lucky for the right-back, the Atletico man was offside. Tight though!
16'
Ancelotti's men looking a bit out-of-sorts so far. Benzema, Ronaldo, Isco, and Di Maria; they haven't been in the game at all. Plenty of time for improvement, though.
14'
Real Madrid look to stage a counterattack of their own as Benzema whips a pass out wide for Ronaldo. The Portuguese looks to pick out Isco at the back post with a curled cross but Godin easily heads the ball away. Seems like a chance missed, that!
12'
That was arguably against the run of play, but like I said, Atletico are always a danger on the counter. There is definitely more goals in this, though!
11'
Diego Costa has scored a goal for Atletico Madrid! Assist by Koke.
GOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAALLLL FOR ATLETICO!!!! Koke picks up possession in between the defence and midfield and flicks a superb incisive pass through the left channel for Diego Costa, who struts forward before coolly finishing into the bottom right corner! 1-0!
10'
You get the feeling the first goal will be extremely important here.
8'
Arbeloa brings the play forward down the right wing but ends up playing the ball straight to Filipe. The former Liverpool man's team-mates seem rather frustrated by that, as they had Atletico on the back foot.
6'
Diego Costa looks to latch on to a pass down the right-hand side and ends up upending Pepe with a late slide challenge. Keep your eye on that duo folks, it promises to be a real battle.
5'
Madrid with all the early possession here, but Atletico have just shown a couple of glimpses of their pace and directness on the counterattack.
4'
Electric start to proceedings here!
3'
Early pressure from the hosts here! Di Maria receives the ball on the right and cuts inside to shoot but his attempt his swiftly blocked. Ronaldo has a crack on the follow up but once again Atletico remain solid.
1'
