Just the two minutes of injury time added by the referee but Barcelona are still hungry for more goals. Messi wouldn't want to be outshined in the hat-trick department by Suarez!
88'
L. Suárez has scored a goal for Barcelona!
GOAL! GOAL! GOAL! IT IS RAINING GOALS IN ANDALUSIA! Xavi's belted shot at goal deflects straight into the path of Suarez, who earns his hat-trick with a predatory finish into the corner! EIGHT-NIL! This team is incredible.
87'
There shouldn't be too much added time signalled by the referee here as Cordoba will more then likely be put out of their misery fairly quickly by the official.
85'
Penalty goal scored by Neymar for Barcelona!
GOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLLLL FOR BARCELONA! After winning the penalty, Neymar steps up and confidently dispatches the penalty into the bottom corner! Seven-nil! Amazing stuff!
84'
PENALTY TO BARCELONA! Neymar receives the ball to feet inside the box and looks to take on the defender before going down under the challenge of Adriano Gunino!
82'
Just under 10 minutes remaining here in Andalusia and the Cordoba players have wanted the final whistle for at least half-an-hour here. They started so well, but have fell apart unbelievably - nothing at all coming from them at the moment.
80'
L. Messi has scored a goal for Barcelona! Assist by L. Suárez.
GOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLLL FOR BARCELONA! More misery for Cordoba! Pedro exchanges a lovely one-two with Messi before looking to tee up Suarez, who can't get the shot away a few yards out. However, the Argentine is on hand to stab into the empty net in what will likely be the easiest goal of his career! Six-nil!
79'
Barcelona are just probing in and around the Cordoba penalty box at the moment, but without too much intensity. Any risk of injury now would more than likely rule someone out of the Champions League, so they are taking it pretty easy out there.
77'
How has Messi not scored?! In what looked like a carbon copy of his previous goal, the Argentine meets a cross with a late run into the box near the penalty spot, but on this occasion he sends his header wide of the left-hand post! Good play from Pedro to create the chance!
75'
Last 15 minutes here at the Nuevo Arcangel and Barcelona are not going all out for more goals baring in mind they have their Champions League semi-final during the week. Expect plenty of possession from the Blaugrana for the remainder of the match.
Minute
Description
73'
Messi collects the ball in a dangerous area on the edge of the box and attempts to nick the ball through the legs of the defenders, but a deflection means that Juan Carlos can come off his line and pounce on the loose ball.
71'
Fidel cuts in from the right-hand side and creates something for the first time in the match as he slides a lovely pass in behind the Barcelona defence. Andone meets it but can't get a decent touch out of his feet, which means his subsequent shot is weak and easily saved by Bravo.
69'
Pedro enters the game and replaces I. Rakitić.
Third and final change from the Catalan side now and it will see Pedro given a run out in place of Rakitic, who opened the scoring. This change will likely signal a change in positioning for Messi, who will just step back every so slightly into midfield.
67'
Still got quite a bit of the game to go now and Barcelona are really turning on the style, which will do nothing to help the confidence of Cordoba, who look doomed to be playing their football in the Spanish Segunda next season.
65'
Piqué has scored a goal for Barcelona! Assist by I. Rakitić.
GOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLL FOR BARCAAAAA! THAT'S FIVE! As simple as you like! Rakitic swings in a corner kick from the right and Pique gets the better of Inigo Lopez before heading into the corner past Juan Carlos! Quite the capitulation by the home side! Five-nil!
Cordoba have indeed made all of their changes now so the last throw of the dice has been made. After the second goal went in for Barca you never really saw the home side finding a way back into the game, and they have really fell apart in this second half.
Five-nil!
63'
A substitution from either side here as Xavi is introduced in place of Iniesta for Barcelona and Bebe is withdrawn for Federico Villegas. Luis Enrique eventually decides to use his second change too as he gives a run out to Mathieu in place of Mascherano at the back.
62'
Fede Vico enters the game and replaces Bebé.
61'
J. Mathieu enters the game and replaces J. Mascherano.
Xavi enters the game and replaces Andrés Iniesta.
What a sitter missed by Neymar! Barcelona press forward on the counterattack and Suarez finds the Brazilian at the back post, who somehow manages to screw his attempt wide from a few yards out! Absolutely awful finish there!
59'
Superb save from Bravo! Eking collects possession around 30 yards out and hits a brilliantly stinging strike towards the corner, but the Chilean gets across goal to beat the attempt away with authority! Very, very good attempt from the substitute!
Superb save from Bravo! Eking collects possession around 30 yards out and hits a brilliantly stinging strike towards the corner, but the Chilean gets across goal to beat the attempt away with authority! Very, very good attempt from the substitute!
58'
P. Ekeng enters the game and replaces Luso.
57'
Second change of the match from Cordoba and it will see the ineffectual Luso withdrawn for Eking. Doubt the youngster will have been tasked with getting Cordoba back into this - he has just been given a nice run out against a top team.
55'
That will be Cordoba completely bereft of confidence now. It would have took a herculean effort to get anything out of this game today, but the frustrating thing is that they played so well for 40 minutes!
53'
L. Suárez has scored a goal for Barcelona! Assist by Dani Alves.
GOOOOOAAAALLLLLLLLLLLL FOR BARCELONA! ANOTHER FOR SUAREZ! Dani Alves once again is given plenty of space down the right wing and subsequently delivers a perfect cross into the box for the Uruguayan, who glances a header in off the post! Four-nil! GAME OVER!
52'
Luso gets yellow.
Busquets glides forward through the middle and releases a pass into the feet of Messi, but not before being completely took out by the late challenge of Luso. That should be a booking for the Cordoba midfielder.
50'
Krhin attempts to make a run through the middle but is easily dispossessed by Busquets, which opens up a large portion of space in front of the Cordoba defence. The midfielder for the home side was very disciplined in the opening 45 minutes, but it looks like he may be losing his positioning a little!
48'
Definitely not the start that Cordoba were looking for after the break here. The relegation-threatened side have actually played really well here, but somehow find themselves three goals down. They've just been outclassed at vital moments either side of half time!
46'
A. Gunino enters the game and replaces José Crespo.
L. Messi has scored a goal for Barcelona! Assist by Dani Alves.
We are back under way in this Spanish Primera Division clash!
GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLLLL FOR BARCELONA!!! Dani Alves goes on a marauding run down the right-hand side and stands a teasing cross into the box. Messi makes up an incredible amount of ground to get into the box and bullet a header into the bottom corner! Three-nil! What a start to this half!
45' +3
José Crespo gets yellow.
45' +2
L. Suárez has scored a goal for Barcelona! Assist by Andrés Iniesta.
GOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLLLL FOR BARCELONA! THE CATALAN SIDE DOUBLE THEIR LEAD! Iniesta probes at the edge of the box, looking for an opening, before clipping a fantastic cross into the box for Suarez, who cushions a clever finish past the oncoming keeper! Two-nil! Barca cruising now!
45' +1
Barcelona do indeed look hungry for more goals here before the break, and Cordoba will need to maintain their concentration at the back. Otherwise all their good work at the back so far will be undone.
44'
Two minutes of added time allocated by the referee and what a time to score for Barcelona - right before half time. Jose Morilla will have ripped up his half time notes, which no doubt would have been extremely positive towards his players!
42'
I. Rakitić has scored a goal for Barcelona! Assist by L. Messi.
GOOOOAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLL FOR BARCELONA!! Suarez eventually finds Messi on the edge of the box and the Argentine dinks a signature pass to the back post for Rakitic. The Croatian takes an assured touch before slamming a superb volley into the corner past the keeper! One-nil!
41'
A corner kick is floated in from Barcelona but the visitors manage to recycle possession. Suarez evades the offside trap down the right and takes the ball down with a wonderful touch. The Blaugrana probing on the edge of the box at the moment!
39'
Barcelona recycle possession after hitting the post to enjoy a nice period of domination in the final third. Iniesta pulling the strings but Cordoba eventually get the ball back as the Barca captain fires a strike towards the bottom corner, which is comfortable saved by Juan Carlos.
37'
BARCA HIT THE POST! Messi clips a wonderful pass over the top over the Cordoba defence and Neymar squeezes out an awkward strike towards the bottom corner, but his attempt bounced off the inside of the wood work! The home side let off the hook!
35'
Superb by Bebe as he displays his tremendous turn of pace down the left wing to skip past a couple of helpless challenges. The former Manchester United man advances forward and looks for Andone with a pass with the outside of his foot, but Bravo comes off his line to claim.
34'
Crespo trudges back onto the field but he is still not looking too comfortable out there.
33'
Some worrying scenes for Cordoba at the moment as their brightest player so far, Crespo, is down clutching is groin after awkwardly clearing the ball near the edge of the area. He is just receiving some treatment and it remains to be seen whether he'll be able to continue.
31'
Iniesta latches on to a loose ball on the edge of the box and smashes a strike back into the danger area. A deflection puts it right into the path of Pique but the defender isn't quick enough off the mark to turn a shot towards goal. Instead, Barca get yet another corner kick.
29'
Suarez collects possession inside the box and typically twists and turns searching for space to get a shot away. The left-footed strike looks likely but the Barca striker is dispossessed by Pantic who comes in with an excellent challenge. Another impressive piece of defending from the hosts!
27'
Messi almost scores a gem of a goal! Mascherano slides a pass into the feet of his compatriot who opens up the Cordoba defence with a variety of sensational touches inside the box. He takes the ball past challenge after challenge but his finish just lets him down as he weakly passes into the arms of Juan Carlos!
25'
Some lovely stuff on display from the hosts! Bebe sends Edimar down the left and into the box on the overlap and the left-back fizzes a cross into the box. Andone is free but just can't take the ball into his feet in order to get the shot away, which allows Bravo to pounce on the loose possession!
23'
Great play by Crespo as the right-back skips past the challenge of Mascherano near the touchline to drive ahead and lift a cross to the back post. Bebe gets the better of his marker but just sends his powerful header over the bar, not giving Bravo much trouble in the process. Excellent again from the home side!
21'
Messi flashes a pass across goal to the back post and Suarez looks poised to smash in from close range, but Edimar is on hand to make a vital interception to turn behind for a corner kick. Cordoba looking very promising at the back so far but how long can they keep up this level of concentration?
19'
Alba goes on a signature overlapping run down the left flank and the reverses a pass into the area near the penalty spot. Messi is lingering dangerously once again but Cordoba manage to clear over the bar and Barca are awarded another corner.
17'
Suarez receives the ball to feet and turns sharply before looking to jink past Deivid, but the Cordoba defender does really well to rob the Uruguayan of possession before moving play up through midfield. Haven't seen too much of the Barca attacking trio as of yet.
15'
In perhaps an act of revenge for the tackle in the first minute, Neymar goes right through Crespo near the touchline down the right wing in a challenge that should see him earn a yellow card, but the referee lets the Brazilian off on this occasion. Keep an eye on that duel.
13'
Some worrying scenes for Cordoba at the moment as Andone looks a bit dazed after an aerial collision with Mascherano. The referee, and the physios, assess the situation for a few minutes and feel the Romanian is okay to continue. Looks like he has just had his bell rung.
11'
Rakitic robs possession off Bebe down the right wing and then bursts forward before flashing a cross into the box. Messi looks poised to get the shot away near the penalty spot but Crespo is on hand to make the vital last-ditch challenge! Corner to Barca!
9'
Despite their position in the league (20th), Cordoba actually only have the 14th worst defensive record in the division, which means that breaking down the home defence for Barca may not be as easy as some people may have been suggesting before this match. The home side's problem is that they arguably need to win today.
7'
ANDONE SHOULD BE SCORING! Fraga goes in a fantastic run down the left wing and whips a perfect cross into the box for his team-mate, but the Cordoba striker puts too much power in his header and ends up firing it over the bar from 12 yards! Barcelona let off the hook!
5'
It is pinball football inside the Cordoba box at the moment as the home side struggle to clear! Iniesta ends up firing a shot towards the bottom corner but it is just cleared out of the danger area at he last minute. The Andalusian side under the cosh at the moment!
3'
Barcelona, predictably, are enjoying their possession in the opening stages here. With Bayern on the horizon on Wednesday, you would be forgiven for thinking that Enrique may have rested some of his star names, but it is arguably his best starting XI fielded today. Beware, Cordoba.
2'
Neymar receives the ball to feet from a throw-in and cleverly flicks the ball over the head over the oncoming Jose Crespo, but the Cordoba defender isn't having any of it and gives the Brazilian a clip on the heel. Cynical tackle, and he is lucky to escape a booking.

We are under way in Andalusia!
Good afternoon folks, welcome to LIVE coverage of the Spanish Primera Division clash between Cordoba and Barcelona from the Nuevo Arcangel!
I'm Martin Macdonald, and I'll be taking you through the action!
With four matches remaining in La Liga, every point counts for Barcelona between now and the end of the season as they continue their pursuit of a historic treble. The Blaugrana travel to Andalusia today to take on a Cordoba side who are rock bottom of the table and seem doomed to be playing in the Spanish Segunda next campaign.
However, the fixtures are piling up for Barca due to their involvement in three competitions, and with Bayern Munich visiting Camp Nou on Wednesday in the semi-final of the Champions League, just how focused will Luis Enrique's men be today in their attempts to claim a vital league win? We'll find out soon enough!
Barca are indeed 15 games unbeaten though and are in truly scintillating form heading into this afternoon's match. The latest entry in their recent winning streak came on Tuesday when they demolished Getafe 1-0 at home, with Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Neymar all among the goals, which were each of a highly entertaining standard.
Cordoba, conversely, are in a horrendous run of form and have not recorded a win in 16 matches since the turn of the year on January 12th. The home side today have only managed to notch up 20 points from 34 matches this season, and it will take a small miracle and probably four wins from four matches for them to avoid the drop.
Half time at the Nuevo Arcangel. Cordoba have actually acquitted themselves very well in the opening 40 minutes or so here but have been undone in the last five minutes of the half thanks to strikes from Rakitic and Suarez. Barcelona head into the break 2-0 up despite not being at their marauding best. Where do Cordoba go from here?!
Full time in Andalusia. Barcelona move five points clear of Real Madrid for the time being as they demolish Cordoba 8-0 in a stunning performance a the Nuevo Arcangel. The home side acquitted themselves well for the majority of the first period, but capitulated massively as the game went on and eventually conceded eight. Suarez got the hat-trick, Messi grabbed two, with Neymar, Rakitic, and Pique also on the scoresheet in a dominant win. Cordoba will be playing their football in the Segunda next season. I'm Martin Macdonald, thanks for joining us, see you next time!
