We are underway in the first half at the Allianz Arena! The hosts are donning their usual red, which means that Olympiakos are forced to wear all blue.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of Olympiakos' trip to face Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena, as Pep Guardiola's men look to continue to look good in the Champions League. After a 5-1 thrashing of Arsenal last time out in this competition, Die Roten will be high on confidence. The visitors, meanwhile, are unbeaten in their last 11 matches.
I'm Simon Harrison and I will be keeping you up to date with all of the action from Bavaria, as Marco Silva's side look to continue their recent good form. As it stands in Group F, both of these sides boast the same record. They have nine points apiece, coming from three wins and a defeat. Arsenal and Dinamo Zagreb, meanwhile, sit on merely three points.
TEAM NEWS: Holger Badstuber gets a rare start at the heart of the hosts' defence, after returning from long-term injury woe. Rafinha will start at full-back, with David Alaba missing out of the squad. In a very offensive midfield set-up, Die Roten boast Arturo Vidal, Thomas Muller and Douglas Costa, with Kingsley Coman and Arjen Robben deployed out wide. Robert Lewandowski leads the line, with Guardiola having a world-class bench to dip into as well.
TEAM NEWS: Felipe Pardo and Seba will offer the threat in wide areas for the away outfit, with former West Brom and Dynamo Kyiv striker Brown Ideye starting up top. Arthur Masuaku and Omar Elabdellaoui offer solid options at full-back, though the Greek side's central defensive pairing offer a little less recognised quality. Alfred Finnbogason takes a seat on the bench, as well as Argentine maestro Alejandro Dominguez.
HALF TIME! The hosts head into the interval with a 3-0 lead, given to them by Douglas Costa, Lewandowski and Muller. Olympiakos just haven't been able to force Neuer into much action, with Marco Silva probably best to lean towards damage limitation at this point.
FULL TIME! Bayern go top of the group, with a 4-0 victory over Olympiakos. The Greek outfit stay in second for now, with Die Roten in pole position to qualify for the knock-out stages! Goals from Douglas Costa, Lewandowski, Muller and Coman wrap up the result at the Allianz Arena, I've been Simon Harrison and I hope to see you again next time.
