Dost has added a bit more of a physical presence up top for the Netherlands since coming on but his team-mates have took this as an invitation to float aimless balls to in and around the Greek penalty area. Sokratis and Papadopoulos at the back are no mugs in the air themselves, too, so the tactic isn't really working for the hosts.
89'
A generous four minutes of added time have been allocated by the referee here which leads to a collective sigh from the home crowd, who have seen enough of their disappointing outfit for one evening. Obviously you can't look into friendly matches too many, but this doesn't inspire confidence for Oranje.
87'
A decent attempt from Janssen this time as he rises high inside the box to glance a header towards goal from a deep Veltman cross. It proves to be fairly routine for the man between the sticks for Greece, though, who is in no rush to introduce the ball back into play after collecting.
85'
Five minutes remaining here in Eindhoven, and Netherlands are running out of time to try and salvage some good will from their home fans before the real matches start next week. Sweden on Tuesday is the upcoming task, so certainly not easy when you consider the form of Oranje in general!
83'
N. Karelis enters the game and replaces P. Mantalos.
Another Greek change. Nikolaos Karelis replaces Mandalos.
82'
There has been a fiery edge to this match from very early in the first half and the game almost boils over as Sokratis is forced to intervene in an altercation between Janssen and Papadopoulos. The referee quickly helps the Dortmund defender in defusing the situation without much incident.
80'
B. Dost enters the game and replaces J. Willems.
Another substitution from the Netherlands, and to be fair to Blind it is a positive one as he withdraws a defender in favour of a centre-forward. Willems leaves the pitch, with Bas Dost coming on to feature alongside Janssen up top.
77'
The Philips Stadion faithful aren't exactly reigning praise on the Netherlands team at the moment even in this non-competitive atmosphere. Even with this just being a friendly, it doesn't bode well for Danny Blind and his outfit on the cusp of some vitally important World Cup qualifiers.
75'
S. Berghuis gets yellow.
Second booking of the match now and it comes to Berghuis, who probably should have seen yellow in the first half for that poor tackle on Fortounis.
74'
G. Gianniotas has scored a goal for Greece!
GOOOAAAAAAALLLL! GOOOALLL FOR GREECE! Mitroglou dashes down the left channel and smashes a strike at goal which is saved by Zoet. The defence of the home side is sleeping, though, which allows Gianniotas to drift in and slide the rebound over the line despite the attentions of Bruma! Two-one!

Description
72'
L. Narsingh enters the game and replaces Q. Promes.
D. Klaassen enters the game and replaces G. Wijnaldum.
Another Netherlands alteration and it sees the speedy Luciano Narsingh given a run out, with Promes leaving the action.
Davy Klaassen also replaces the impressive Wijnaldum.
71'
Twenty minutes remaining in this international friendly clash and the second period has significantly downgraded in action compared to the opening 45 minutes, which had plenty of positivity about it. After the break both sides just appear to be concentrating on keeping their shape and solidity rather than showing ambition going forward.
69'
How have Greece survived there?! The hosts have the opposition camped inside their own box with a variety of crosses in and shots on goal. A few blocks are bravely made from the Greek defence, with Wijnaldum left frustrated after having seen an attempt intercepted from basically on the line!
67'
OH SO CLOSE JANSSEN! The Dutchman ignores the pleas of his team-mates at the edge of the box and finds some space himself to rifle an outstanding strike aimed ominously towards the top right corner. Much like Sneijder's attempt in the first half, though, it goes INCHES wide of the post with the goalkeeper rooted to the spot!
65'
J. Hendrix enters the game and replaces K. Strootman.
D. Pröpper enters the game and replaces W. Sneijder.
First change of the match from Danny Blind and it sees the Netherlands captain, Sneijder, given a rest in favour of the oncoming Propper. The Fenerbahce man can be fairly content with his contribution this evening.
Strootman also makes way, with Jorrit Hendrix coming on.
63'
Oranje are just struggling to maintain a command of possession at the moment, with the play looking decidedly cagey and loose in those central areas. The ball is being surrendered far too frequently, which will certainly give both head coaches a cause for concern.
61'
Veltman, who has been extremely quiet in an attacking sense so far for the Netherlands, makes a rare venture into opposition territory and attempts to slide a pass through the middle for Janssen. It is actually a really lovely ball, but the striker isn't wise to it which allows the newly introduced Greek goalkeeper to claim inside the box.
59'
Samaris stands over a free-kick deep down the left wing and steps up to launch a wicked cross deep to the edge of the six-yard box. It is actually Wijnaldum who is back in a defensive position to clear with a commanding header though, even with Mitroglou sniffing around for any loose bit of possession.
57'
Yet another substitution from Greece here and it sees Fortounis trudge off to the side of the pitch to be replaced by Giannis Gianniotas.
56'
G. Gianniotas enters the game and replaces K. Fortounis.
55'
The Netherlands channel play down the left-hand side this time, with Willems looking to link up with Promes with a quick one-two. It comes off for the compatriots, but Greece are pretty solid in their shape which forces the left-back to revert back inside to Blind.
53'
A low key start to proceedings in this second half, which is only natural considering that Greece made four changes at half-time. The flow of the match just interrupted ever-so-slightly but the home side are trying their best to get going in the final third again.
50'
It is astonishing how much this Netherlands outfit has changed over the past two years, with veteran players such as Robin van Persie and Arjen Robben nowhere to be seen for the moment. It will be interesting to see how much Blind continues this philosophy of fielding youngsters, especially when the Bayern winger gets back to fitness.
48'
So the Greeks are the first side to delve into their squad to make some changes. We probably didn't expect so many quite at the one time, but Skibbe is giving plenty of players a chance to impress before World Cup qualifying starts next week.
46'
K. Papadopoulos enters the game and replaces K. Manolas.
S. Kapino enters the game and replaces O. Karnezis.
K. Stafylidis enters the game and replaces V. Torosidis.
A. Bakasetas enters the game and replaces J. Holebas.
We are back under way in Eindhoven.
A change in goal for Greece as Stefanos Kapino replaces Karnezis.
The Greece captain, Torosidis, also makes way with Konstantinos Stafylidis entering the action.
Another change from Greece which sees Kyriakos Papadopoulos replaces Manolas.
Fourth and final alteration from Skibbe as Anastasios Bakasetas replaces Holebas.
45'
One minute of added time has been allocated by the referee. It is looking like we are going into the break at a 1-1 stalemate!
43'
As this is an international friendly, expect the raft of substitutions from both Blind and Skibbe as play goes on. The Netherlands haven't actually been too bad, but the boss will want to give the likes of Van Dijk, Klaassen, and perhaps Bazoer a run out with Sweden coming up on Tuesday.
41'
Maniatis clips a lovely lofted pass down the left channel with Samaris bursting a gut to get on the end of it. Some superb, proactive goalkeeping from Zoet though saves the home side as he dashes off his line to clear into the stand before a threat can be made on goal.
39'
The Netherlands fans in the stands of the Philips Stadion were very appreciative of the early intentions of their side, which eventually lead to the opening goal. However, there have been some sighs and grumbles since Greece have got back into contention.
37'
A bit of a lull in the match at the moment as we wind down to the break. Neither side showing particularly much going forward, with Greece having drastically increased in confidence since banging in that equalising goal.
35'
SNEIJDERRRR! HOW CLOSE WAS THAT?! The former Inter attacking midfielder takes advantage of the space in the final third to take a touch and send a peach of a dipping strike aimed towards the top corner. Karnezis struggles to get across, but he is let off the hook as he witnesses the shot flash JUST wide of the woodwork!
33'
Promes cuts inside ominously from the left flank and attempts to dink a pass in behind the defence for Janssen. The Tottenham striker battles hard to get on the end of it, but some typically strong defending from Manolas sees possession ushered out for a Greece goal-kick.
31'
Danny Blind will be furious at the defending of his charges for that equalising Greece goal. Not only did Torosidis have all the time in the world to send the cross in, but Veltman was posted missing at the back post as Mitroglou ghosted in to score all too easily.
29'
K. Mitroglou has scored a goal for Greece! Assist by V. Torosidis.
A lovely assist from Torosidis from the right wing.
GOOOAAAAAAAALLLL FOR GREECE! AN EQUALISER FROM NOWHERE! Torosidis provides plenty of width down the right once again and this time picks out a perfect cross to the back post for Mitroglou, who easily gets ahead of his marker to bullet a header home! One-one!
28'
Some slightly worrying scenes for the Netherlands here, and indeed Fenerbahce, as Sneijder is forced to the side of the pitch to receive some physio treatment. Unclear exactly what the issue is, but it looks like he is okay to soldier on for the moment.
26'
Samaris moves into the centre of the pitch unopposed and eventually gets into a great position before attempting to threat an incisive pass in behind the Netherlands defence for Mantalos, but Willems reads the play well and intercepts before catalysing a counter for the hosts.
24'
We are just beyond the midway point of this first half and it is perhaps a better encounter than we were all expecting. September international friendlies can indeed be very cagey, but the Netherlands are setting a decent tempo with Greece also posing a small threat themselves.
22'
A very smart save from Zoet! Fortounis, who is the creative spark of this Greece outfit, collects the ball in a decent position with his back to goal before turning sharply to drive a threatening strike aimed towards the higher portion of the net. The goalkeeper is equal to it, though, and turns over for a corner-kick.
20'
JUST WIDE FROM SNEIJDER! Willems takes the long throw-in into the box which is cleverly recycled back into the danger area by Bruma. The Netherlands captain meets the aerial ball with a cracked volley on goal, but unfortunately for him it is lashed just wide of the left-hand post.
18'
A decent little period of sustained possession at the moment from the Greeks, but it is coming with very little penetration into the final third. The hosts looking comfortable, with Mitroglou cutting a highly isolated figure up top.
16'
Greece attempt to respond almost immediately to going a goal down with pretty much their first venture forward of the match. Maniatis receives the ball to feet inside the centre circle and opens up the play with a gorgeous diagonal pass to Torosidis, but the Netherlands get back into positions fairly quickly which means nothing much comes of the attack.
14'
G. Wijnaldum has scored a goal for Netherlands!
GOOOAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLL FOR THE NETHERLANDS! AN EARLY OPENER FOR ORANJE! Greece give the ball away criminally in a dangerous position and the hosts take advantage to counter with pace, with Janseen eventually seeing possession near the byline. The Spurs forward cleverly cuts in past the defender before flashing into the box for Wijnaldum to bundle home! One-nil.
12'
A decent opening to the match from the Netherlands, who are looking much the better side in these early stages. Wijnaldum and Sneijder have both been involved positively, with the former just testing the keeper with a rasper of a strike from 25 yards that is saved comfortably.
10'
K. Manolas gets yellow.
Indeed, the first yellow of the match comes relatively quickly, with Manolas penalised for fouling Janssen.
9'
This may indeed be a friendly, but that doesn't mean some of the opening challenges have went along with that formula. The latest guilty party to stick the boot in a bit is Berghuis, who completely takes out the tricky Fortounis with an extremely late slide tackle. Good to see that the Greek, and indeed the aggressor, get on with things without much incident afterwards.
7'
The Liverpool attacking midfielder rushes forward through the middle once again, this time with possession at his feet. He thinks about having a crack on goal, only to make the decision to slide a lovely pass in behind the defence for Sneijder, but the subsequent shot is deflected into the hands of the Greek goalkeeper.
5'
Wijnaldum makes a typical, late run into the penalty area to try and get on the end of a teasing Willems cross, but a superb interception from Tzavellas takes the ball right of the head of the onrushing Dutchman. A great bit of defending there.
3'
It should be interesting to see how the Netherlands approach this match tonight, especially with World Cup qualifying so close on the horizon. With the poor 18 months they have had, you get the feeling that Danny Blind will be encouraging a certain type of intensity even with a non-competitive fixture.

We are under way in this international friendly clash!
Good evening football fans! Welcome to LIVE coverage of the international friendly clash between the Netherlands and Greece from the Philips Stadion in Eindhoven.
Their preparation friendly match comes against a Greece side who also failed in their attempts to reach the European Championships. In terms of World Cup qualifying, Blind's charges travel to Sweden on Tuesday evening for the opening fixture of Group A, and although this is a tough fixture on paper, they will be buoyed by the fact that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has retired from international football.
The start of this decline was under the tenure of Guus Hiddink, who lost his job just over a year ago to be replaced by former international, Danny Blind. The 55-year-old didn't manage to pull some results together to ensure Euros qualification, but has been given another shot to get the Netherlands back to the big time with World Cup qualifying for Russia in 2018 coming up next week.
The past couple of years have been a disaster for the Oranje, with a failure to qualify for this summer's European Championships in France becoming somewhat of a national embarrassment. In Euros qualifying, they notched up just four wins in 10 matches, losing five of those, and have also lost three out of their last four friendlies on home soil.
Greece, arguably, had an even worse time of it in their Euro 2016 qualifying attempts. Incredibly, in a group which included the Faroe Islands, Finland, and Hungary, the 2004 European champions finished bottom of the standings in Group F and claimed just one victory, losing back-to-back matches against the Faroes.
Half-time in Eindhoven. A fairly entertaining international friendly clash between the Netherlands and Greece is 1-1 at the break, with Georginio Wijnaldum and Kostas Mitroglou on target so far for their respective nations. As mentioned previously, expect to see some new faces coming off the bench with the second half to come.
Full-time in Eindhoven as the Netherlands are booed off after a 2-1 defeat against Greece. Wijnaldum gave the hosts the lead in the first half, but the 1-0 scoreline was surrendered not long after as Mitroglou and Gianniotas netted impressively for Michael Skibbe's solid outfit. Some worrying performances for Danny Blind what with World Cup qualifiers coming up. Thanks for joining us, see you next time!
