The pressure continues unabated as Germany chase another goal. San Marino at least look to have avoided another double-digit defeat against the world champs. Seconds remain now.
90' +1
A. Hirsch enters the game and replaces M. Vitaioli.
Vataioli gets a late withdrawal for Hirsch.
89'
WELL SAVED BY ALDO SIMONCINI! The ball falls to Muller at the top of the box, and he picks his spot, aiming for the bottom corner. However, the outstretched arm of the keeper denies him!
87'
Suffocating pressure on the San Marino goal, which seems to be boiling over as we approach the end of the game. Germany look like they have another goal or two in them.
85'
K. Volland has scored a goal for Germany! Assist by T. Müller.
He's been laying the assists on tonight.
VOLLAND SCORES! It's eight now for the visitors as Muller has the freedom of the right flank to pick out Volland in the centre, and the striker finishes on the turn!
83'
C. Brolli enters the game and replaces T. Zafferani.
Brolli has been summoned to replace Zafferani.
82'
M. Stefanelli is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
GERMANY HAVE A SEVENTH! Stefanelli has had absolutely no luck in attack leading the line by himself, and he's unfortunate at the other end as he sees a cross skip off his leg and into the back of the net.
79'
Hector is the second Germany player on a hat-trick, and a Muller cutback finds its way to him at the top of the box, but he attacks the ball with too much vigour, sending it flying into the stands.
77'
L. Goretzka enters the game and replaces S. Khedira.
Khedira is off and on comes Goretzka.
76'
S. Gnabry has scored a goal for Germany! Assist by T. Müller.
GNABRY COMPLETES HIS HAT-TRICK! The Werder Bremen man is celebrating as he latches onto Muller's lovely ball over the top to finish with a fine volley into the bottom corner.
Good pass from Muller to set that one up!

Description
75'
It's a strange thing to say about a team that's ahead 5-0, but this has been a below-par performance from Germany. They've wasted a few chances, although, they've rarely needed to move out of walking pace.
73'
HOW DID HE MISS? The ball over the top is perfect fo Gnabry, who slits it wide from a couple of yards. The offside flag is up to spare his blushes a little, but Jogi Low on the bench still does not look amused.
71'
K. Volland enters the game and replaces M. Gómez.
M. Meyer enters the game and replaces M. Götze.
Meyer has also been chosen to come on for Gotze.
Volland has been summoned to replace Gomez.
70'
Only the one substitution so far from both managers, who seem content to let the game play out as is. Gnabry will want to stay on and complete his debut hat-trick, while Gundogan has looked hungry during a few plays.
67'
Stefanelli has not been terrible by any stretch this evening, given the amount of service that he's been given to work with. He shows good hold-up play to momentarily relieve the pressure on his defence.
65'
J. Hector has scored a goal for Germany! Assist by M. Götze.
Another assist for the BVB man.
Hector makes it five! Gotze rounded Aldo Simoncini and at an angle, squared the ball back to the defender, who poked the ball through the legs of the goalkeeper.
64'
Palazzi is back with us as San Marino sportingly return the ball to the opposition to restart the game. Less than half-hour to go now and it's a matter of damage limitation for the home side.
63'
There's a delay in proceedings as Palazzi goes down with a knock. He appears to have sliced open his knee in a challenge with Gnabry, and that one looks painful. The physios are on.
61'
JUST OVER THE TOP FROM GUNDOGAN! The Manchester City man is coming closer to something in the second half, and he nearly benefited from an inadvertent layoff from Tosi, but he couldn't keep it down.
60'
M. Vitaioli gets yellow.
Vitaioli, the skipper gets booked for trodding on the heels of Henrichs.
59'
M. Domeniconi enters the game and replaces L. Tosi.
TOsi has been withdrawn for Domeniconi.
58'
S. Gnabry has scored a goal for Germany! Assist by J. Kimmich.
Smart pass from the defender.
THERE'S THE FOURTH GOAL! The San Marino defence decides to play an ill-advised offside trap as Kimmich sweeps the ball over the top. Gnabry is onto it, and finishes calmly.
57'
OVER THE BAR! Gundogan skips through the centre but is challenged. Khedira keeps the danger alive and slips the ball inside the area for Gomez, who leans back too much and launches it over the bar.
54'
Germany win a free-kick about 25 yards from goal, and there's a multitude of interested takers. Gundogan it is who eventually takes charge, and his effort takes a deflection en route to kissing the outside of the post. No corner for the visitors either.
52'
Gundogan schemes on the ball and waits for Gnabry to make a run down the blind side of Palazzi. However, the defender was not unaware as they thought, and makes a good sliding interception.
50'
It's like running into a blue brick wall at times for the Nationalmannschaft, who are being constantly forced to reset their attacks in the face of a resolute defensive effort from the home side.
48'
Third attempt on goal for Henrichs in this game, and this time, he goes very close, with his shot almost kissing the edge of the post on its way out. Good start to the second half from Germany.
46'
Here we go again.
45' +1
ANOTHER ONE CHALKED OFF! A deep cross from the left is not defended properly, and finds its way to Gomez at the back post, who whacks it in from an offside position! Good decision that.
44'
Germany continue to keep the ball camped in the opposition half, but there's not a whole lot of shots coming in to trouble Aldo Simoncini. All hands to the pump defensively for the home side.
42'
GOAL RULED OUT! They're queuing up here in the rain, as Muller slides the ball to Gomez with the keeper completely out of the equation, but he's denied a goal by the offside flag.
40'
One way traffic here in San Marino, with the home side unable to get on the ball. It's something of a surprise that they've managed to limit the defending champs to only three goals so far.
37'
Gnabry moves through the centre and lays the ball off to Kimmich, whose cross could have been met by Gomez at the back post, but for an untimely slip from the striker. Germany keep a hold of the ball.
35'
Rare touch here for Ter Stegen who dallies on the ball before clearing, which sparks a counter-attack down at the other end. Gotze cuts inside from the left, but he can only warm the palms of the keeper.
32'
J. Hector has scored a goal for Germany! Assist by M. Götze.
A little bit of skill from Stefanelli opens up space for him to drive through the middle, and he frees Palazzi down the right-hand side, but the right-back lacks support from his teammates.
Nifty give-and-go from the Dortmund man.
HECTOR MAKES IT THREE! Moments after he saw a cross punched clear by the keeper, he races through the centre to latch onto a lovely little feed from Gotze, and he makes no mistake with his left foot.
30'
Gundogan wins a free-kick on the edge of the box after he was caught late. It's at too much of an angle for a direct shot, but the Manchester City man's ball still finds its way through to the keeper, who punches clear before the rebound is slammed over.
28'
Some pinball around the San Marino 18-yard area as Muller's ball falls to Henrichs, who connects with it horribly once again. He's had a few chances to get his name on the scoresheet, the Leverkusen man.
26'
Kimmich flights a delightful ball into the centre that is flicked into the path of Gotze, who slides a dangerous ball across the face of goal that somehow finds no takers. The flag then goes up very late.
24'
Luca Tosi appears to turn his ankle when trying to defend a cross, and the game is stopped as he gets treated. looking in some pain. It appears that the pitch is more of a factor than initially imagined.
22'
Henrichs is finding a lot of space to overlap down the right-hand side, but he's appearing to have come problems controlling the bouncing ball. I wonder if it has anything to do with the condition of the pitch?
19'
San Marino are starting to come out of their shell somewhat, and they manage to win a corner after Hummels is forced to clear, and the German defence seem surprised by the resulting delivery, which is dealt with in the end.
17'
A corner sees Hummels get to the ball before a pair of defenders. He manages to get his head to the ball, but it's right down the throat of the keeper. Aldo Simoncini will want them all to be that easy.
15'
The ball has barely left the opposition half as Germany threaten a third goal with a series of corners. The rain has started to come down, a fitting metaphor for the home side's start to this game.
13'
Gnabry already looks in the mood for a hat-trick on his debut as the defence is forced to scramble the ball away nervously as he bore down on goal. There's too much pace in the German ranks.
11'
SAVED BY THE KEEPER! Aldo Simoncini stretches to his right to tip away a little dink from Gomez, but ut almost falls to the sliding Gnabry at the far post for what surely would have been 3-0.
9'
S. Gnabry has scored a goal for Germany!
GNABRY SCORES ON HIS DEBUT! The former Arsenal man wa in the right place at the right time after an attempted challenge on Gomez by the keeper fell into his path, and he did the rest.
7'
S. Khedira has scored a goal for Germany! Assist by İ. Gündoğan.
Good ball above the defensive line.
GERMANY OPEN THE SCORING! Hummels bides his time on the ball and plays it to Gundogan, who lifts a pass over the top for Khedira, who rounds the keeper and slots it home!
5'
Absolute dominance of the ball from German as you would expect. There's a mass of blue shirts camped around the penalty area, making it a little challenging for the visitors to find space - although Gnabry does just that, squeezing a weak shot through that was saved.
3'
Five at the back for San Marino to start this game, but it still wasn't enough for them to get a boot on a low cross, which sneaks through to Henrichs, who lets fly with a pot-shot from the top of the box that goes wide.
1'
Off we go!
Hello and welcome to our live commentary of the World Cup qualifier between San Marino and Germany. The last two games between these sides have seen 19 goals scored - all by the Nationalelf, who will be looking to deal out another thrashing tonight.
Germany lead the group by grabbing three wins from their opening three games without conceding a single goal. Azerbaijan are their closest challengers two points behind, but it's a group that the defending champs are expected to dominate.
San Marino have been the traditional whipping boys of the Uefa qualifying section. They're bottom of Group C after losing all their games so far, but this time around, they've at least managed to score a goal - against Norway in their last match.
It's a defensive 5-4-1 from the home side, who are set up already to limit the damage. Lone striker Mattia Stefanelli can expect to have a frustrating evening, as well as keeper Aldo Simoncini - for entirely different reasons.
Serge Gnabry makes his senior debut on the wing this evening along with Benjamin Henrichs, who starts at right-back. Sami Khedira also starts after he was rumoured to be rested, while Marc-Andre ter Stegen takes the place of Manuel Neuer, who caught a virus.
And that will do it for the first half as Germany are well on their way to another three points in the group. It's been a routine first-half as expected, although they still have some work to do if they're to get close to the 13-0 scoreline from the last time that these two met. Stay tuned for the restart soon.
And that will do it as the referee brings a halt to proceedings. No shocks here as Germany run out 8-0 winners, with Gnabry leading the way with a hat-trick on his debut. Four wins from four for Low's team in Group C, while San Marino prop up the table with defeats in every one of their games so far. That's all the time we've got, thanks for tuning in!
