Lacazette and Welbeck combine well on the edge of the box, leading Reid to dive in on the Englishman and concede a free-kick in a dangerous area, and pick up a yellow card in the process. Ozil's shot deflects off the wall, and that looks like the last chance of the game.
90'
NO GOAL! Arsenal nearly shoot themselves in the foot as Koscielny plays a suicidal ball across his back line under pressure. West Ham win the ball and Noble feeds Hernandez through, but the Mexican's shot comes back off the bar and is cleared away! It was close, but the referee signals that it didn't cross the line!
89'
Arnautovic bustles his way into the box, but a combination of Lacazette, Maitland-Niles, and Monreal get the ball away from him, albeit at the expense of a corner.
86'
Maitland-Niles can quite get on the end of an Ozil reverse through ball, and the German is visibly frustrated with himself. He knows the pass was overhit.
85'
Wilshere receives the ball from Ozil and turns before unleashing a fierce strike at goal, but it's blocked away once again. West Ham are proving a resolute unit and showing some fantastic organisation.
82'
J. Hernández enters the game and replaces M. Antonio.
A. Lacazette enters the game and replaces A. Sánchez.
Sánchez is also replaced, as Lacazette comes on. The Chilean has had a frustrating night, and Arsenal will hope that his replacement has more joy.
Antonio is replaced by Hernández up front for the Hammers. If anyone can score with a mere sniff of goal, it's the little Mexican.
80'
Welbeck nicks the ball off of Cresswell and charges down the right. He checks inside Ogbonna, but checks back out again and loses the ball! He needed to put that in the danger zone as soon as possible, but he dallied long enough for Ogbonna to get a challenge in.
79'
Sanchez then also has a shot charged down, as claret and blue shirts throw themselves in front of everything Arsenal can hurl at them.
78'
Maitland-Niles finds himself in acres down the left, and his cross is cleared out to Bellerin, whose shot is blocked away for a throw-in. They just can't find a way through!
76'
Arsenal are still probing away, but West Ham have so many men behind the ball and get back into shape so quickly that it's very difficult for the Gunners to carve out an opening. Giroud has looked threatening in the box, but he has three to contend headers with, and he's always under pressure.
Minute
Description
73'
SAVE! Sanchez fires the ball over the wall and on target, but Adrian makes a fantastic diving save to deny the Chilean!
72'
Arsenal are struggling to open West Ham up with their neat one-twos and short passes, but they win a free-kick from that here as Wilshere is fouled by Noble.
70'
D. Welbeck enters the game and replaces A. Iwobi.
Iwobi is replaced by Welbeck as Wenger looks to find a way through the Hammers' stubborn back line.
MISS! Maitland-Niles' cross is headed down by Giroud in the box, but Wilshere has to take the half-volley on his right foot and blazes it over the bar! That was a golden opportunity for Arsenal!
68'
The game is starting to get more stretched now, and West Ham are starting to pile more pressure on. If they nick a goal here, they may well be able to shut up shop and hold out. Arsenal need to score first if they want the game to stay open.
66'
OFF THE LINE! Cech gets his punch all wrong and it falls straight to Arnautovic, who dinks it goalwards, but Monreal is there to clear the ball off the line in desperation! Arsenal survive a scare there!
62'
Antonio and Arnautovic are interchanging regularly. Arnautovic is staying high without the ball as Antonio tracks back, but the Englishman reverts to a central role in possession, allowing his team-mate to roam the attacking zone.
60'
MISS! Antonio whips a quality ball into the box, but Arnautovic doesn't attack it with any real desire and it bounces off his head and out. The Austrian needs to show more desire there.
58'
Wilshere shows Arsenal what they've been missing with a lovely turn and run, ghosting past several defenders before just over-hitting his through-ball into Giroud! Perhaps the shot from distance was a better option, but it was an excellent run.
56'
MISS! Ozil starts off a lovely move in the box, and shows incisive movement to get on the end of the return ball, but he can only stab it just wide of the far corner from a tight angle! That was a whisker away!
55'
It's all Arsenal at the moment, as they pepper the West Ham box with cross after cross. They're making great use of the flanks, but West Ham are standing firm so far.
53'
CHANCE! Maitland-Niles - once again - finds Giroud with a lovely ball into the box, and the Frenchman's header is just deflected behind for a corner!
52'
Cech then has to be alert off his line to claim a low Arnautovic cross into the middle with Antonio lurking.
51'
SAVE! Some neat one-touch passing almost ses Giroud lash a shot at goal from inside the box, but it's nicked on its way into him and cleared away. However, it falls to Xhaka who unleashes a powerful effort from distance that Adrian does well to keep out!
49'
MISS! Bellerin has a low drive from 20 yards or so after Sanchez played the ball into his path from the left, and it just slips wide of the post! Arsenal are having to resort to efforts from distance with the number of bodies in and around the West Ham box.
47'
CHANCE! And the hosts are on the front foot straight away, as Cresswell pings a ball into the chest of Noble, and it finds Arnautovic, but he can only skew his shot onto the roof of the net under pressure from Monreal.
46'
West Ham get the game back underway at the start of the second half!
45' +1
And that looks like the end of the half after one additional minute.
45'
MISS! Xhaka has a pop from 30 yards, and his left-footed drive isn't too far away, but never troubling the West Ham goalkeeper, who had his angles covered.
44'
CHANCE! An Arsenal corner falls to Sanchez on the left side of the box, who lays Wilshere off, and the Englishman's cannon of a shot is blocked away.
43'
A strange moment for West Ham as Cresswell puts the ball straight out of play when trying to ping the ball down the line. Hopefully he's not too dazed from taking Giroud's shot to the head earlier!
41'
M. Lanzini gets yellow.
Lanzini takes one for the team as he takes Wilshere out to prevent a quick Arsenal break. One of the easier decisions of the night for the referee.
39'
CHANCE! Maitland-Niles finds Giroud again, and the Frenchman tries an acrobatic bicycle kikc, but it's blocked by Cresswell, who stays down. What a goal that would have been!
38'
NO PENALTY! Iwobi loses the ball on the edge of his own area, and Lanzini drives forward and takes a tumble at the byline with Xhaka, but there's nothing doing there, despite the appeals.
37'
West Ham enjoy a good spell of possession, and Maitland-Niles eventually fouls Noble on the flank as he barges him over. The resulting delivery looks dangerous, but Cech punches clear.
34'
CHANCE! Maitland-Niles whips another dangerous cross into the box, but Giroud can only skim the ball with the top of his head and it drifts just wide of the far post. Maitland-Niles to Giroud seems like a good avenue for the Gunners tonight.
31'
Arnautovic has really looked in the mood tonight. He drives down the right and wriggles free of both Maitland-Niles and Monreal, but he can't make the most of a good opportunity. He looks fired up tonight though.
29'
POST! Iwobi's fierce effort comes off the base of the post! Some more ince interplay saw the Nigeria international drive into space in the box down the right, but his effort cannons back off the upright!
28'
Giroud is barged over on the edge of the box, but doesn't get a free-kick. He's absolutely livid, and beats the turf in frustration.
27'
CHANCE! The ball is fizzed in low to Arnautovic in the box, but he can't strike it cleanly under pressure and his shot is scuffed up and into the grateful arms of Cech.
25'
Arsenal have settled into their passing rhythm more and are seeing lots of the ball, pinning the Hammers back into their own half. They're still probing away for that final ball, however, and West Ham are making it difficult with lots of bodies in the box.
22'
CHANCE! Sanchez's shot is deflected over the bar after WIlshere created some space with a lovely touch and one-two with Grioud. The corner finds its way to Maitland-Niles, who hits it first-time, but his fizzing effort is just wide of the far post.
20'
And West Ham nearly get in behind again, but Arnautovic just can't quite latch onto a dinked ball over the top.
18'
Wilshere is fouled off the ball, but the referee plays advantage. However, Ozil can't make the most of it, and Arsenal eventually commit a foul of their own to prevent the counter. West Ham certainly have pace on the break with Arnautovic, Lanzini, and Antonio as a front three.
14'
NO GOAL! Arnautovic sees a powerful header bulge the back of the net, but it's correctly disallowed for offside. It was close though. Wilshere, Giroud, and Sanchez combined with a series of flicks on the edge of the West Ham area, but lost possession, allowing the hosts to break forward at pace. It remains 0-0, but the Hammers came within inches of opening the scoring there.
13'
Antonio launches a very impressive long throw into the box, but it's well dealt with by the Arsenal defence. That throw was really something though!
12'
Wilshere is slipped through on the right wing, before feeding Iwobi inside, who drives with pace down the flank. He's crowded out though, and the ball deflects out off of him for a goal kick.
10'
A Maitland-Niles cross again causes problems, before Sanchez stays down following an off-the-ball collision. He doesn't get the free-kick he's looking for, and he certainly isn't pleased about it.
9'
CHANCE! Sanchez sees a shot blocked, but gets it back and works some more space, before firing a shot low towards the near post. It's tame, however, and Adrian has no trouble keeping hold of it.
8'
Maitland-Niles has certainly had a busy night already! He gets forward down the left, checks back onto his favoured right foot and lofts a cross in towards the head of Giroud, but teh Frenchman just can't quite get his head to it.
5'
A loose pass from Maitland-Niles allows Antonio to burst in behind the Arsenal defence, but he's caught offside and Arsenal escape.
2'
Early on, it appears that West Ham are in fact playing a 3-4-2-1, with Cresswell on the left of a back three and Masuaku at left wing-back.
A nice interchange between Maitland-Niles and Sanchez on the left ses the former win a corner with a low cross. It's a big night for the youngster to prove that he can cut it at the highest level.
1'
And Arsenal kick us off at the start of the first half in this London derby!
Hello and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the Premier League fixture between West Ham and Arsenal at the London Stadium.
The line-ups have been announced, and we'll start with the home side.
West Ham XI (4-2-3-1): Adrian; Cresswell, Ogbonna, Reid, Zabaleta; Noble, Obiang; Masuaku, Lanzini, Arnautovic; Antonio
West Ham substitutes: Carroll, Sakho, Hernandez, Collins, Ayew, Hart, Rice
Arsenal XI (4-2-3-1): Cech; Maitland-Niles, Monreal, Koscielny, Bellerin; Xhaka, Wilshere; Sanchez, Ozil, Iwobi; Giroud
Arsenal substitutes: Lacazette, Ospina, Chambers, Welbeck, Kolasinac, Coquelin, Elneny
Arsene Wenger makes four very interesting changes for this one. Youngster Ainsley Maitland-Niles comes in at left-back for Sead Kolasinac after impressing in his Europa League outings. Jack Wilshere and Olivier Giroud also make their first Premier League starts of the season, replacing an injured Aaron Ramsey and a rested Alexandre Lacazette, respectively. Alex Iwobi comes into the side for Per Mertesacker, as the Gunners change shape to a 4-2-3-1.
The hosts' recent victory over the champions was their first in the league since September (D3 L5). Their only other win in all competitions in this period was a 3-2 victory over Tottenham in the League Cup in October.
Arsenal will be looking to get back to winning ways here after seeing their league form dip of late. Following three wins in a row against Tottenham, Burnley, and Huddersfield, the Gunners suffered two disappointing results on the bounce, losing 3-1 to Manchester United and drawing 1-1 with Southampton last time out.
However, this is another London derby, and the Hammers' 100th at home in the Premier League. They have won 36 of the last 99, (D22 L41), and their last two wins in all competitions both came against London opposition (Chelsea and Tottenham).
David Moyes' side are up against the odds to record back-to-back wins for the first time this season, having won just one of their last 18 Premier League meetings with the Gunners (W1 D3 L14). Arsenal are also unbeaten in their last nine league away games against West Ham (W7 D2).
Despite beating Chelsea, this will be the 42nd consecutive Premier League matchday in which David Moyes has started in charge of a team in the relegation zone - a competition record.
No player has scored more goals from the bench for a single Premier League team than Olivier Giroud - level with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on 17. The Frenchman will be looking to impress on his first league start of the season tonight, and prove that he can make an impact from the off.
He will be ably assisted by playmaker Mesut Ozil, who has scored in each of his last three Premier League games against West Ham, while also providing an assist in the last two.
West Ham are unchanged from their recent 1-0 win over Chelsea, persisting with Adrian in goal, meaning Joe Hart remains on the bench. Interestingly, the Hammers' bench is a very attacking one, with four players capable of playing up front in Andy Carroll, Diafra Sakho, Javier Hernandez, and Andre Ayew.
Alexis Sanchez also has a good record against West Ham, and was involved in four of Arsenal’s goals in their 5-1 win in this fixture last season (three goals, one assist). All four of his Premier League goals against the Hammers have come in away games, helping to cement the Gunners record of Premier League away wins against tonight's hosts with 12 - the most they have against any opposition (level with Everton and Aston Villa).
And there goes the half-time whistle! It's still 0-0 at the break, but West Ham had the ball in the net early on from Arnautovic's powerful downward header, but the goal was correctly ruled out for offside. Iwobi then struck the base of a post with a fierce low drive after good work down the right, but neither side could find the breakthrough in an even half, despite Arsenal dominating the ball. Both sides will need to produce a little bit more in the final third if they are going to open the scoring in the second half.
A side note is that Maitland-Niles has had an excellent showing after being thrust in at left-back, consistently delivering dangerous crosses towards Giroud and looking eager to get involved in the game.
And there goes the full-time whistle! The Hammers had the ball in the net through Arnautovic early on, but his header was disallowed for offside. Iwobi then hit the post before the end of the first half as Arsenal dominated the game and tried to create chances, but their neat passing game was nullified by an organised defensive unit. The Gunners' best avenue was crosses - particualrly Maitland-Niles to Giroud - and hopeful shots from range. West Ham almost won it at the end, after a loose ball found its way to Hernandez, but his shot crashed back off the crossbar! It finishes 0-0 here at the London Stadium!
