Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the Champions League clash between Besiktas and Bayern at the Vodafone Arena.
Bayern are in complete command of the round-of-16 clash, having recorded a 5-0 hammering of the Turkish outfit at the Allianz Arena. Jupp Heynckes' men will want to see this contest out with as little drama as possible.
Besiktas are unbeaten in their domestic form since their defeat against the German side at the end of February. They've won three matches in the Super Lig to maintain the pressure on Galatasaray at the top of the table, beating Genclerbirligi last time out. Senol Gunes' side also played out a 2-2 draw in the first leg of their Super Cup semi-final clash against Fenerbahce. However, they will need to be flawless today.
Bayern have been imperious in their last two matches, hammering Freiburg and Hamburger SV in the Bundesliga. They were held to a goalless draw by Hertha Berlin, but Heyckes' men are firing on all cylinders.
The team news has been announced and we'll start with the home side.
Besiktas subs: Fabri, Adriano, Ryan Babel, Alvaro Negredo, Atiba Hutchinson, Fatih Aksoy, Anderson Talisca.
BAYERN (4-3-3): Sven Ulreich; Rafinha, Jerome Boateng, Mats Hummels, David Alaba; Arturo Vidal, Javi Martinez, Thiago Alcantara; Thomas Muller, Robert Lewandowski, Franck Ribery.
Bayern subs: Sandro Wagner, Niklas Sule, James Rodriguez, Juan Bernat, Sebastian Rudy, Tom Starke, Joshua Kimmich.
Gunes has made seven changes to his side that beat Genclerbirligi last time out. Zengin comes into the side between the sticks, while Uysal, Erkin, Quaresma, Ozyakup, Pektemek and Vagner Love all start.
Bayern have made just two changes from their win over Hamburg at the weekend. Rafinha and Thiago come into the fold to replace Arjen Robben and Kimmich.

STAT! Bayern Munich have won their last five Champions League games, the longest current run in the competition.
HALF-TIME: BESIKTAS 0-1 BAYERN
Bayern were in a dominant position before the start of the match and it has been strengthened by Thiago Alcantara's strike. Jupp Heynckes' men already had a foot in the next round of the Champions League and are now justs 45 minutes away from the quarter-finals. Besiktas have been energetic this evening, but have lacked the quality to put the German outfit under pressure.
FULL-TIME: BESIKTAS (1) 1-3 (8) BAYERN
Bayern advance to the quarter-finals of the Champions League as expected after their first-leg demolition. Jupp Heynckes' men were ruthless at the Vodafone Arena to claim a 3-1 win on the night. Strikes from Thiago Alcantara and Sandro Wagner along with an own goal from Gokhan Gonul were enough for the victory, with Vagner Love notching a consolation for Besiktas. The Turkish outfit were outplayed in both legs, with Bayern looking a strong contender to claim the crown.
