Inter get the first half under way at San Siro.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the Serie A match between Inter and Bologna at San Siro!
Inter have won four of their last eight games in all competitions (D2 L2), but none of those wins have come in their previous three, and they were knocked out of the Coppa Italia on penalties by Lazio on Thursday. Bologna come into this match on a very bad run of form, not having won any of their last 13 matches in Serie A (D6 L7), a run which goes back to September 30.
INTER STARTING XI (4-2-3-1): Samir Handanovic; Cedric Soares, Stefan de Vrij, Milan Skriniar, Dalbert; Matias Vecino, Marcelo Brozovic; Ivan Perisic, Radja Nainggolan, Antonio Candreva; Mauro Icardi.
INTER SUBS: Daniele Padelli, Andrea Ranocchia, Danilo D'Ambrosio, Kwadwo Asamoah, Miranda, Joao Mario, Roberto Gagliardini, Lautaro Martinez, Eddie Salcedo.
BOLOGNA SUBS: Giancarlo Gonzalez, Mattia Destro, Mattias Svanberg, Angelo Da Costa, Godfred Donsah, Blerim Dzemaili, Adam Nagy, Arturo Calabresi, Simone Edera, Ladislav Krejci, Nehuen Paz, Diego Falcinelli.
The teams are coming out of the tunnel now, with kick-off just moments away.
Bologna go into half-time with a 1-0 lead thanks to Santander's header. The away side looked nervy in the opening exchanges after Inter had an early chance on goal in the first minute, but they grew into the game had the better chances in the first half. Inter were booed on their way down the tunnel after the half-time whistle after not having a single shot on target in the match so far.
Spalletti might want to think about making a change at the start of the second half to try and add something different to the attack as they have looked out of ideas at times. Perisic has looked the most dangerous player for his side and has tried to create opportunities, but more often than not, there haven't been any runners ahead of him to pick out. Bologna easily look like they could get another goal if they approach the second half the way they did the first, and Mihajlovic will be very happy with his side's performance.
Bologna remain in 18th in the league table despite that win, but have closed the gap between themselves and Empoli above them to one point. Inter remain in third, but are yet to win a game in Serie A in 2019 and have failed to score in their first three league games at the start of a calendar year for only the second time in their history. The home fans booed the team off at the final whistle and Spalletti will be hoping he can change his team's fortune soon before the pressure on him increases even more.
