The home side, who are currently sitting in 16th place, have won on only one occasion in their previous 12 Premier League matches. A win today, however, will see Brighton move five points clear of the bottom three as they edge closer to securing Premier League safety. Huddersfield, much like their opponents, have only won once in their last 12 league games. The away side currently find themselves sat at the very bottom of the table and desperately need a win today to keep their thin hopes of survival alive.
The teams are out and kick-off will soon be upon us here at Amex Stadium.
Brighton have not been at their best thus far in this one. The Seagulls have shown Huddersfield plenty of respect and in turn have been unable to cause their visitors too many issues. Murray has been far too isolated on numerous occasions and Brighton will look to get bodies up and around him after the break as they search for the opening goal. Huddersfield, meanwhile, will be pleased with their performance so far. Pritchard has looked lively and he will be crucial in the second half as the away side look to create more clear-cut chances.
Brighton travel to Crystal Palace in their next fixture as they look to build on today’s victory. Huddersfield, meanwhile, host Bournemouth in their next league match as they look to bounce back following their narrow loss this afternoon.
That brings an end to our coverage of the Premier League fixture between Brighton and Hove Albion and Huddersfield Town at Amex Stadium. Thank you very much for joining us. Goodbye!
