S. Mané has scored a goal for Liverpool! Assist by D. Sturridge.
MANE AT THE DOUBLE! 4-2! That will surely seal the win for Liverpool as the striker brings up a half-century of goals for the club! He meets a delivery from Sturridge near the edge of the box, dinks it around Heaton and clips it into the back of the net.
There was some question whether Sturridge was offside but it does not matter. Anfield is absolutely bouncing!
90' +1
J. Guðmundsson has scored a goal for Burnley! Assist by M. Vydra.
This has set up a very nervy finish for Liverpool. Burnley only need one chance to salvage something here. Jurgen Klopp is furious at Vydra being given that space.

Description
75'
Mane smashes a shot off Taylor’s elbow and despite some half-hearted calls for a handball penalty, it will be a corner instead for the hosts.
74'
Robertson fires a fast throughball into the Burnley box for Salah to chase, only for the pass to speed beyond him to the waiting Heaton.
71'
Fabinho gets yellow.
Fabinho gets a yellow card for a careless slide tackle in midfield now. The hosts will be wanting to close this game down now without any silly errors.
70'
Following Jordan Pickford’s awful day for Everton yesterday, Heaton might have fancied his chances of getting the nod for England in the upcoming international break. Gareth Southgate will be thinking twice after this performance.
68'
J. Henderson enters the game and replaces G. Wijnaldum.
Liverpool make their first change now as Wijnaldum makes way for Henderson.
67'
Roberto Firmino has scored a goal for Liverpool!
FIRMINO BAGS A BRACE! 3-1! The Brazilian notches a second following a horrendous error from Heaton. The keeper’s deliver goes straight to Salah who races into the box. A slide tackle takes him down and as before, the loose ball is bounced on by his team-mate simply fires in from close range.
65'
McNeil makes a good run down the left wing and almost gets the better of Alexander-Arnold before the latter concedes a corner. It’s a poor set-piece however and Liverpool are left untroubled by it.
63'
Hendrick is flagged for offside after he slips into the Liverpool box. The hail seems to have abated at Anfield but the wind is remaining troublesome for both teams.
58'
McNeil almost finds Barnes at the right post with a cross and then Cork fires a second Burnley delivery straight into the waiting palms of Alisson.
56'
The Clarets, aided by the wind, see off the second set-piece with Salah unable to cleanly connect with an attempted volley.
55'
Lallana takes a short corner into the box and leaves McNeil with a dummy. Taylor once again gets the block in for another corner.
54'
Nifty footwork from Salah sees him win a corner off Taylor after he carves his way through the Burnley box.
53'
An excellent three-pronged attack sees Mane break and play on to Firmino on the right. The Brazil international clips a cross in for Salah, only for the wind to catch the ball and take it out at the far post.
51'
Down the other end, Salah turns on the edge of the Burnley box and curls an effort wide of the top-left corner. There’s still no sign of him curtailing his barren spell.
50'
Barnes feels he should have a spot-kick following an apparent push by Van Dijk. The referee deals the tackle to be fair however and play continues.
48'
An early spell of pressure from the visitors yields no clear-cut chances and the Reds withstand it robustly.
46'
We’re back underway at Anfield for the second half. Can Liverpool push on and further seal the deal or do Burnley have an ace up their sleeve?
45' +3
HALF-TIME: LIVERPOOL 2-1 BURNLEY

Liverpool have stamped their authority on this game but Burnley are still looking tenacious in attack. They try to edge down the right flank but find little success with Matip cleaning up.
38'
Alexander-Arnold puts the set-piece somewhere past the left post after the stiff breeze plays havoc with his effort.
37'
The wind is approaching biblical proportions at Anfield and stops a ball headed down the right wing almost dead in its tracks. Salah takes advantage and wins a free-kick from the opportunity presented.
35'
Hendrick tries his luck from outside the box, only to hit his own man Wood and see his effort sail out for a goal-kick.
34'
Burnley have their second corner of the game after Van Dijk concedes and Alisson makes a more assured effort to clear this time, with the visitors picking up a resultant throw-in.
32'
Heaton has to clear up another awful back pass after Salah almost bounces on the loose ball near the edge of the Clarets box.
31'

29'
S. Mané has scored a goal for Liverpool!
MANE GIVES LIVERPOOL THE LEAD! 2-1! Lallana makes a great defensive press to block a lazy attempted clearance from the visitors and the rebound falls to Salah. The Egypt international goes down to a slide tackle but the ball is pushed to his fellow forward who curls a volley into the top-right corner. Lovely stuff from the hosts.
28'
The Reds build an attack from their own half that sees Mee intercept and play back to Heaton. It’s not a great ball and the keeper puts it out under pressure from Firmino.
26'
Tarkowski miscues a long ball from inside his own half and puts it out for a throw-in deep in opposition territory after none of his forwards opt to chase it.
24'
Alexander-Arnold whistles an attempt over the crossbar from the set-piece, after Liverpool play it short.
23'
Robertson and Firmino try a one-two on the left edge of the box but Hendrick gets in to tap the ball out for a corner.
21'
That’s exactly the sort of response that has been brewing since the Reds went behind. There’s going to be a lot of finger-pointing between Heaton and his defence though.
19'
Roberto Firmino has scored a goal for Liverpool!
FIRMINO EQUALISES FOR LIVERPOOL! 1-1! It’s an absolute muddle from Heaton and Tarkowski on the line as Salah and Wijnaldum execute a one-two for the former to slot a square ball in for his fellow striker to bundle over the line. Absolute confusion from the Burnley keeper and defender there.
17'
Alexander-Arnold clips a low, hanging cross in from the right wing and Mane’s powerful header is skewed wide to the left as play resumes.
15'
An initial cross to Lallana from the set-piece sees Liverpool appeal for a handball by Tarkowski but play is waved on by the referee. Mane meanwhile accidentally catches Bardsley on the chin with his head and the latter needs a look at from the physio.
11'
The sun is shining at Anfield but a sudden downpour of hail obfuscates proceedings for a moment. Alexander-Arnold is pinged for offside after Wijnaldum tries a throughball down the wing.
9'
That’s woken Liverpool up and Salah hares off down the right flank before playing a cut-back to Wijnaldum. He skims the ball into the box looking for a header, but can only watch it skitter out for a goal-kick.
7'
Alisson Becker gets yellow.
Alisson is absolutely furious and claims very strongly that he was impeded in his attempts to get to the ball. Replays show he might have a point, with Tarkowski appearing to push him down as the ball sailed in, but instead it’s the goalkeeper who gets a booking for his protests.
6'
A. Westwood has scored a goal for Burnley!
WESTWOOD GIVES BURNLEY THE LEAD! 1-0! What a start for the visitors! The Clarets win a corner and the midfielder scores his first goal for the club directly, drifting it in at the far post from the left flank, beyond everyone in the box! What a goal!
4'
Lallana, making the most of his rare start, drifts a cross into the Burnley box seeking Firmino. Heaton sweeps across the delivery first and collects comfortably.
3'
It’s a relatively terse opening between both sides as they feel each other out. Liverpool’s defence has been excellent in recent weeks – they’ve not concede in the last five games – but they’re in desperate need of some goals up front.

We are underway in this Premier League clash between Liverpool and Burnley!
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the 2018-19 Premier League as title hopefuls Liverpool welcome Burnley to Anfield.
Sean Dyche’s visitors meanwhile are seeking a first win in three after they saw their resurgence checked to tip them back towards the bottom three. The Clarets have been unable to recover the form that took them into Europe last season, and their top flight hopes might hang by a thread if they fail to recover promptly.
Roberto Firmino is back into the line-up for the hosts, with Adam Lallana handed a rare start in the absence of James Milner. Burnley meanwhile name the same side who lost to Crystal Palace last time out.
BURNLEY (4-4-2): Tom Heaton; Phil Bardsley, James Tarkowski, Ben Mee, Charlie Taylor; Jeff Hendrick, Jack Cork, Ashley Westwood, Dwight McNeil; Ashley Barnes, Chris Wood.
Subs: Xherdan Shaqiri, Naby Keita, Daniel Sturridge, Simon Mignolet, Divock Origi, Dejan Lovren, Jordan Henderson.
LIVERPOOL (4-3-3): Alisson; Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip. Virgil van Dijk, Andrew Robertson; Georginio Wijnaldum, Fabinho, Adam Lallana; Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane.
Subs: Matej Vydra, Peter Crouch, Ben Gibson, Johann Gudmundsson, Matthew Lowton, Robbie Brady, Joe Hart.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have been the favourites this year to dethrone champions Manchester City but their failure to get the better of Merseyside rivals Everton last week means that they are now four points adrift of the Citizens. A win today will cut the gap back to one – but time is running out for the Reds.
The teams are out at Anfield ahead of kick-off.
Ashley Barnes looked to be nursing a knock for Burnley late on in that half, so could Peter Crouch be set for an early appearance for Sean Dyche’s side? Jordan Henderson was also spotted warming up at points, suggesting that Liverpool too may make a swap.
There’s still no sign of Mo Salah breaking his dry spell as he failed to find the back of the net once more but the Reds will be pleased with how much inventiveness Adam Lallana brought today in a rare start. Most of them look to have come through unscathed too, which is great news ahead of Wednesday.
Indeed, for Liverpool, it’s a trip to Germany to face Bayern Munich in the Champions League next time out, while Burnley host Leicester on Saturday. Until then however, thank you for joining us – and have a good weekend!
