Bournemouth get this south coast clash underway!
Hello and welcome to our live text commentary of this Premier League clash between Brighton and Hove Albion and Bournemouth at the Amex Stadium.
Brighton may still be disappointed at their defeat in the FA Cup semi-finals last week but they've still got a job to do. The Seagulls lie 16th in the Premier League table, five points clear of Cardiff with a game in hand. A win today will go a long way towards their securing top-flight football for another season.
Handily for them, Brighton's visitors today are Bournemouth who have won one of their last nine Premier League matches and have been wretched on the road most of this season. With safety all but secure now, maybe Eddie Howe's side can start to let their nerves go away from home.
BRIGHTON AND HOVE ALBION (4-3-3): Mat Ryan; Martin Montoya, Shane Duffy, Lewis Dunk (c), Bernardo; Yves Bissouma, Dale Stephens, Davy Propper; Anthony Knockaert, Florin Andone, Jurgen Locadia.
SUBS: Glenn Murray, Alireza Jahanbakhsh, Beram Kayal, Jose Izquierdo, David Button, Dan Burn, Gaetan Bong.
BOURNEMOUTH (3-4-2-1): Artur Boruc; Steve Cook (c), Chris Mepham, Nathan Ake; Ryan Fraser, Jefferson Lerma, Dan Gosling, Adam Smith; David Brooks, Joshua King; Callum Wilson.
The two sides enter the Amex Stadium pitch - Brighton in blue and white, Bournemouth in red and black. No clashes here!
Brighton drop to 17th in the Premier League table after Southampton beat Wolves 3-1 at home. However, they stay five points clear of relegation with a game in hand after Cardiff's loss to Burnley. They're lucky there are three teams in the division more dismal than they were today. Bournemouth jump to 12th.
Bournemouth can now enjoy a visit from already relegated Fulham next weekend, while Brighton can end their own worries of the drop by beating Cardiff midweek. Hughton needs to pull his team together, and fast. That's all for now. Goodbye!
