A lovely backheel pass plays Gallardo into the penalty area where he pulls a shot wide right of goal.
CHANCE! Montes somehow misses an open goal from inches away after Jimenez had perfectly squared a ball over to the former! It won't change the result, but what a horrible miss that was!

Antuna went down in the box again, the referee waved play on again, and then Jimenez tried to chip the 'keeper but his effort landed on top of the goal, rather than going in it.

93'
Penalty goal scored by R. Jiménez for Mexico!
GOOALLLL!!!! MEXICO OPEN THE SCORING IN EXTRA TIME! Jimenez stepped up from the spot, sent Placide the wrong way, and then slotted his attempt into the bottom-right corner! What a way to start extra time! Haiti 0-1 Mexico
91'
The whistle sounds once more, and extra time is underway!
90' +5
END OF 90 MINUTES: Haiti 0-0 Mexico

There will be four minutes of added time.
Substitution Edson Omar Álvarez Velázquez Diego Antonio Reyes Rosales
89'
L. Rodríguez gets yellow.
Etienne is rolling on the ground after being contacted in the face by Luis Rodriguez. The latter is shown yellow.
87'
Etienne breaks past the defence and has an open pass to an open player in the box... oh but he slips, and the ball rolls safely to the Salcedo. That would have been some chance had Etienne been able to stay on his feet and deliver the cross.
85'
Haiti are starting to find the space left behind the Mexican defence as El Tri are forced to push forward to try and find a winner.
83'
J. Désiré enters the game and replaces F. Pierrot.
H. Moreno gets yellow.
Moreno drags back Pierrot on what would have been a two-on-one, and the defender is shown yellow for his trouble.
That will be Pierrot's last action as Desire replaces him for Haiti.
82'
For those wondering, we will be heading to extra time if neither side manage to score in the final minutes of regulation.
81'

77'
After winning the ball back in defence, Haiti slow things down and pass amongst themselves in their own half.
75'
Antuna is down again, this time on the edge of the box, after being stopped by Alceus. The latter will need to be very careful considering he's already on a yellow card.
71'
Luis Rodriguez gets forward and sends a teasing cross across the face of goal, but no one bothered to try and get on the end of it. Wasted opportunity for Mexico there.
69'
D. Etienne enters the game and replaces D. Nazon.
Nazon will play no part in a Haiti goal today as he's withdrawn in favour of Etienne.
68'
C. Rodríguez enters the game and replaces A. Guardado.
U. Antuna enters the game and replaces R. Alvarado.
Guardado's free-kick attempt is his last action as he's withdrawn for Carlos Rodriguez.
Another change from Mexico as Antuna replaces Alvarado in the attack.
65'
Mexico line up a free-kick from a near perfect position after Jean Baptiste pulled down Jimenez near the penalty area.
64'
It looks as though Rodriguez will be rejoining the fray with what looks like a swimming cap covering his head wound.
58'
Nazon wins a foot-race down the left and goes down under pressure from two defenders, but the referee is unsympathetic and tells him to get up.
54'
Guerrier buys a lottery ticket from distance that does not pay off at all as the effort soars well above the goal.
52'
Arcus cuts out a tempting ball that was played into his own penalty area, and he then launches a quick counter through the centre of the pitch.
50'
Pierrot takes a turn and fires from inside the box but catches it with the outside of his boot rather than the inside and skews it closer to the corner flag than the goal.
48'
Some sloppy play in the early parts of the second half as both sides try to get back up to speed.
46'
The referee blows his whistle once more, and this match is back underway!
45' +1
HALF-TIME: Haiti 0-0 Mexico
45'
There will be one minute of added time.
43'
Alvarado sits his defender on the floor in the penalty area and could have found Jimenez, but the former dawdles for just a second and the passing lanes close.
41'
Nazon dribbles himself out of an opportunity as he could have hit it first-time, or laid it off to a team-mate. Instead, he tries to cut past a defender who easily clears it upfield.
39'
Arcus dribbles up to the edge of the box and attempts to catch Ochoa sleeping at his near post, but no luck and the Mexican goalkeeper catches it.
36'
Ochoa launches off his line to prevent a quick counter from Haiti, but skews his kick and it looked for a second like Les Grenadiers would be able to take advantage.
34'
Nazon cuts in from the left wing, dribbles into the penalty area, and pulls a shot well wide of goal. Great run, disapppointing finish.
31'
Nazon, after losing the ball, runs through the back of Alvarado and is called for the foul.
30'

28'
A huge diagonal is hit towards Alvarado on the right, and it flies over the head of the winger and out for a Haitian throw.
26'
Jean Baptisite makes a brilliant sliding challenge on Pizarro in the penalty area after initially being turned by the latter. Mexico will have a corner.
22'
Alvarado drifted just offside before a lovely lofted ball was played in to him, and the move ends as the flag goes up.
20'
Mexico have several half-chances from a corner, but all of them are blocked before they can cause any trouble for Placide in goal.
18'
On a counter-attack, Gallardo runs through the back of Bazile, conceding a free-kick to Haiti.
16'
Guardado tries his luck from distance and skews a shot that's equal parts high and wide, and never troubled Placide.
14'
B. Alcéus gets yellow.
Alceus picks up an early yellow card after missing the ball, and stamping on one of Guardado's feet. Maybe not a yellow in and of itself, but the Haitian player had already been warned.
9'
Alceus commits a foul in his own third, and Mexico will have a dangerous free-kick.
6'
Bright start to this match thus far as both sides have come out looking to attack. We should be in for a good one!
4'
Rodriguez is played down the right with a fantastic through-ball before whipping a cross in the direction of Jimenez that Placide claims after launching off his line.
1'
Referee Abdulrahman Al Jassim blows his whistle, and this match is underway!
These sides have only faced each other once before in this tournament with Mexico 4-0 winners in 2009. They have not played one another in any competition since.

Now, let’s take a look at the team news!

Mexico substitutes: Luis Montes, Fernando Navarro, Alexis Vega, Cesar Montes, Erick Gutierrez, Orbelin Pineda, Jonathan Orozco, Hugo Gonzalez, Carlos Rodriguez, Uriel Antuna, Nestor Araujo, Diego Reyes.
Both sides are out on the pitch as the national anthems ring around State Farm Stadium. Not long to go now!
It will be interesting to see how these sides approach the second half. Mexico have been the protagonists in this match thus far but the pressure will continue to mount the longer they go without scoring a goal. Jimenez has not been heavily involved thus far and this will likely need to be remedied in order for the seven-time champions to score today. As for Haiti, they will likely just want to keep the status quo for now, especially considering that their backline have yet to concede a second half goal at this tournament thus far.
Well, after a very tense second half, we are set for another 30 minutes of football after Mexico failed to break down what has proved to be a vaunted Haitian defence. Can they find a way past Placide in extra time, or can Haiti finish a chance at the other end and advance to their first ever Gold Cup final? Time will tell, but we'll find out together!
After just two minutes of the extra period, controversy struck as Jimenez was awarded a soft penalty. The Mexican striker finished the chance to give his side the lead, and force Haiti to change their tactics. From that point forward, Les Grenadiers have launched hopeful balls forward to little avail. If they can connect on one things would get very interesting but, for now, Mexico are in the driver's seat.
Off the back of this result, Mexico will play in the Gold Cup Final on Sunday against the winner of Jamaica v United States while Haiti will, unfortunately, be heading home after this disappointing defeat.
That will do it for our live coverage of this Gold Cup match between Haiti and Mexico! We hope you enjoyed following along, and will join us again soon!
