S. Armstrong enters the game and replaces J. McGinn.

McGinn made the goal look easy but he was helped by Taylor's fanastic cross.
GOAAAALLLL SCOTLAND 3-1 KAZAKHSTAN - McGinn is there again, and he is really becoming Scotland's talisman under Clarke. His energy levels are on another level, and he uses them to get to Taylor's cross. Once he meets the ball, he produces a delicate touch to steer the ball past Nepogodov.

Kazakhstan look to have sent out several substitutions for their warmups. They need to freshen things up, and some new bodies could help them.
69'
Kazakhstan boss Michal Bílek looks to have been carded as well after saying something to the referee. It is all happening now in the second 45 minutes.
67'
A. Marochkin gets yellow.
Marochkin gets too tight to Naismith and brings him down before the referee shows him a yellow card.
66'
D. Gallagher gets yellow.
Gallagher is shown a yellow card after a needless tackle on the halfway line.
Scotland have increased the tempo and energy levels, and they now deservedly lead. This is much better, and McGinn and Naismith have been superb in the early stages of the second half.
64'
S. Naismith has scored a goal for Scotland!
GOAAAALLL SCOTLAND 2-1 KAZAKHSTAN - Naismith gives Scotland the lead with a header from close range. Palmer made a great run down the line, and he saw his cross take a wicked deflection. Nepogodov came off his line to collect and clashed with McGinn before Naismith was on hand to head into the empty net. Many will have expected the referee to give a free-kick, but he ignores the appeals, and it is 2-1.
61'
Scotland win another corner...
CHANCE! Kazakhstan try to clear their lines, but the ball falls to McGregor who unleashes a shot towards goal. His effort looked to be flying into the far corner, but it is deflected away at the last second.
58'
Naismith looks stunned as his latest effort is blocked behind for a corner. He continues to knock on the door, but the Hearts man has yet to be rewarded.
50'
Whatever Clarke said to Scotland seems to have worked. They are playing at a higher tempo, and they already look a better team than they did in the first half.
48'

GOAAALLLL SCOTLAND 1-1 KAZAKHSTAN - McGinn tries his luck from the edge of the box, and a massive deflection off Islamkhan helps it into the back of the net. The Villa man went for power and got lucky, but this could give Scotland the lift that they need.

45'
Two minutes of stoppage time...
43'
A. Abiken gets yellow.
Abiken pleads his innocence, but he has to be booked for a very poor challenge on Forrest.
41'
Scotland have responded since going behind, but Clarke may still need to change things at the break to give his team the edge.
37'
Clarke will be extremely disappointed with that goal. Scotland should have done a lot more to put pressure on Shchetkin, but once they gave him time, it was too late.
34'
B. Zaynutdinov has scored a goal for Kazakhstan! Assist by A. Shchetkin.
GOAAAALLLLLLLL SCOTLAND 0-1 KAZAKHSTAN - Zainutdinov scored in the last meeting between the pair, and he has done it again. Shchetkin gives him the chance to shoot thanks to a simple throughball, and the former takes one touch before drilling his shot past Marshall from 20 yards out.
Shchetkin could have been selfish there and ran towards goal himself but he picked the best option and his pass allowed Zainutdinov time to pick his spot before shooting.
30'
It is fair to say that this is not a classic, but Scotland are now starting to take more control, and that will please Clarke as we approach half-time.
27'
Poor effort! Forrest gets Scotland moving forward with a great run, but his shot is well below his best. The Celtic ace dropped the shoulder to turn inside, but he tapped his effort into Nepogodov's hands.
25'
Scotland fans can stop panicking, McGinn is fine and back on the pitch.
22'
B. Islamkhan gets yellow.

Islamkhan is the first man in the book after a poorly-timed tackle.
21'
Scotland win a corner, Christie to take...
20'
This is a big match for tonight's visitors. Kazakhstan beat San Marino 3-1 last time out, and they have never previously won back-to-back qualifying matches for either the European Championships or the World Cup.
18'
Scotland finally generate a shot towards goal, but McGinn drags his effort wide of the target. He was picked out by Forrest, but his left-footed drive was nowhere near the far post in the end.
15'
CLOSE! Shchetkin meets Shomko's cross inside the box, but the forward fails to generate any power on his shot and Marshall saves easily.
12'
Clarke is barking out plenty of orders, but his team are still struggling to create any chances.
10'
McGinn wins a free-kick near the touchline, but he should not be out there trying to get the ball. The Aston Villa man needs to be in the middle of the park, but it is a case of needs must after such a slow start.
8'
With little riding on tonight's match, it is no surprise to see so many empty seats in the stadium.
6'
Clarke's men will need to be patient tonight, with the visitors now moving to a back five.
3'
Scotland wearing all blue tonight, with Kazakhstan in all yellow. The visitors have put the majority of their starting XI behind the ball in the opening exchanges.

We are underway at Hampden Park.
Hello and welcome to tonight's European Championship Qualifier between Scotland and Kazakhstan from Hampden Park. Steve Clarke's men will be out for revenge tonight after losing the last battle between the pair 3-0 in Astana.
Scotland's chances of a top-two finish were all-but ended by that defeat in March. They have had to do it the hard way after a change in manager, but a third-place finish is still up for grabs tonight.
Clarke's team still have the chance to qualify via the play-offs in March so tonight's match can be classed as an experiment. It is Scotland's last match until those games, so a solid performance is needed.
SCOTLAND (4-2-3-1): David Marshall; Liam Palmer, Declan Gallagher, Scott McKenna, Greg Taylor; Ryan Jack, Callum McGregor; Ryan Christie, John McGinn, James Forrest; Steven Naismith (C).
SUBS: Craig MacGillivray, Oliver McBurnie, Jon McLaughlin, Eamonn Brophy, Lewis Morgan, John Fleck, Michael Devlin, Stephen O'Donnell, Ryan Porteous, Stuart Armstrong, Oliver Burke, Graeme Shinnie.
Both national anthems are finished, kick-off is moments away!
Christie's effort sails over the bar, and the referee calls time on the first half. It may sound harsh, but there was a testimonial feel to that first 45 minutes, and Scotland need to up the tempo if they want to win this contest. Zainutdinov's effort was the main highlight, and his strike deserves to win a match.
Naismith has worked hard as usual, but Forrest, Christie and McGregor need to do more to help him. Kazakhstan have been very defensive, but Scotland have 45 minutes to spare their blushes.
Tonight was a perfect example of a game of two halves, with Scotland below par during the first 45 minutes. A lapse in concentration allowed Zainutdinov to open the scoring, but Clarke's team-talk changed the game at the break. Scotland were quicker, braver and clinical in the second 45 minutes and McGinn's brace either side of a Naismith goal was enough for the three points.
That is all for tonight folks, thanks for joining us as always. Goodbye!
Scotland will find out their opponent for the play-offs on Friday but they will go into that game knowing they will secure a home leg. Clarke's troops have now won three in a row going into that game and confidence will be high.
