Giroud deftly touches through to Abraham, who with just Davis to beat, gets tackled before he can trouble Halstead to the right of the area.
90' +1
There will only be two minutes of added time as the Blues canter towards their 23rd consecutive FA Cup fourth round.
90'
Lyons dispossesses Tomori and then races over the halfway line, where the English centre-back slams into him and fouls the substitute. Phillips takes the set-piece, which Rudiger deflects before Kepa comes and punches the loose ball out for a throw-in.
86'
L. McAlinden enters the game and replaces C. Stockton.
Stockton earns a well-deserved rest, after working hard up top, as he is brought off for McAlinden.
85'
K. Havertz has scored a goal for Chelsea! Assist by César Azpilicueta.
GOAL! 4-0! Azpilicueta coasts down the right-hand side, stands up a cross to the centre of the area, where Havertz towers above Davis to head into the bottom left corner past Halstead.
Hudson-Odoi slides in Azpilicueta down the right-hand side and the Spaniard then crosses towards Havertz, who adds Chelsea's fourth.
84'
Giroud selfishly jumps in front of Pulisic to receive Abraham's pass before his left-footed shot gets deflected and rolls through tamely to the hands of Halstead.
80'
T. Anjorin enters the game and replaces C. Hudson-Odoi.
F. Tomori enters the game and replaces K. Zouma.
Zouma wanders off the pitch and Tomori comes on to slot alongside Rudiger at centre-back.
Scorer of the third goal, Hudson-Odoi, is also brought off for 19-year-old Anjorin.
78'
L. Gibson gets yellow.
Gibson is the first name in England's book for chopping at the back of Hudson-Odoi's heels, after he had already released the ball.
77'
Zouma goes direct as he searches for Abraham, who is then inches away from getting the crucial touch to tap past Halstead from inside the area. Down the other end, Kepa is called into action to claim Phillips' cross before launching long to Azpilicueta on the right-hand side.
Minute
Description
76'
Rudiger gives away a clumsy free-kick to the right of the area. Phillips hesitates over the set-piece before allowing Wildig to take towards the back post, where Davis meets the cross and loops a header comfortably into the hands of Kepa.
74'
B. Lyons enters the game and replaces Carlos Gomes.
T. Abraham enters the game and replaces M. Mount.
Mount's outswinging corner flies towards Giroud, who heads over the bar from the penalty spot. The Frenchman is clutching at his hip, however, as if to suggest he is struggling, despite only being introduced six minutes ago.
Loanee Lyons comes on for his Morecambe debut as he is introduced for Mendes Gomes.
Mount, who scored the first goal, is replaced by Abraham.
73'
The visitors cannot escape their own half and Chelsea are relentless in their pressure. Hudson-Odoi then sends a teasing delivery to the back post, where Pulisic arrives but his left-footed volley gets turned behind for a corner by substitute Mellor.
69'
With Pulisic's introduction, it looks like instead of slotting in on the right, the American has in fact gone to the left, with Hudson-Odoi switching over to the right.
68'
O. Giroud enters the game and replaces T. Werner.
C. Pulišić enters the game and replaces H. Ziyech.
Werner, after grabbing that all important goal for his confidence, is substituted off for Giroud.
Pulisic comes on for Ziyech in a like-for-like swap on the right-hand side.
67'
Another chances comes and goes for Ziyech, who skews a left-footed effort well wide of Halstead's goal to the left-hand side. It now looks like Lampard is also going to make his first change of this FA Cup tie.
64'
The visitors are dropping deeper and deeper as they tire in this second half. This time, Davis heads clear and Ziyech races onto it before volleying wide of the target with his left foot from the corner of the area.
62'
K. Mellor enters the game and replaces R. Cooney.
L. Gibson enters the game and replaces S. Hendrie.
J. O'Sullivan enters the game and replaces J. Slew.
Left-back Hendrie slowly makes his way off as he is replaced by Gibson for Morecambe's first change.
Opposite full-back Cooney also comes off for Mellor.
60'
Ziyech makes the game look so easy on his left foot, on this occasion, he curls a teasing cross towards Werner on the penalty spot, where Davis does well to poke an interception with his right foot. Havertz then gets rolled through into the area, every one stops, but the German still cannot find a colleague in the area with his low, right-footed pass.
59'
Mount and Ziyech are on different wavelengths as the former pokes a pass through to the latter but overhits it, allowing Halstead to intervene. As the game approaches the 60th minute, how long will it be before the Blues make some changes and rotate a few players out?
57'
Werner is far too enthusiastic in his attempts to dispossess Songo'o and the Morecambe midfielder earns his side a free-kick on the edge of their own area. Halstead eventually sends it long, where Zouma and Rudiger combine to regain possession for Lampard's men.
55'
Phillips has the chance to cross from a set-piece but unfortunately his delivery lacks quality and gets headed clear by Rudiger. Songo'o then plays a simple pass out of play as the visitors cut frustrated, tired figures out in the middle.
54'
Werner looks to return Havertz's first-half favour, sliding into the German at the front post but Havertz can only direct a right-footed effort wide to the right of goal from inside the area.
49'
C. Hudson-Odoi has scored a goal for Chelsea! Assist by H. Ziyech.
Ziyech is afforded far too much space, gets his head up and dinks a pass over the Morecambe defence with his left foot for Hudson-Odoi to run onto and score.
GOALL! 3-0! Hudson-Odoi makes it three as he blasts past Halstead with his right foot inside the area. The goalkeeper gets a hand to it but is powerless to stopping it going in. Initially, Ziyech chipped a perfect pass over the top to find the English forward, who did the rest with a cool finish to add a third for the hosts.
48'
Hudson-Odoi gets caught accidentally by a stray arm from Songo'o and spends a minute or so clutching his face on the ground. When play restarts, Ziyech thinks about playing in Werner before rather sensibly opting to play backwards to Emerson.
46'
Both sets of players are back out and referee England gets this FA Cup third-round tie back underway!
45' +1
HALF-TIME: CHELSEA 2-0 MORECAMBE
44'
T. Werner has scored a goal for Chelsea! Assist by K. Havertz.
Havertz, who perhaps could have scored with his head, tees up Werner to slot home at the back post past Halstead.
GOALLL!! 2-0! Ziyech’s cross finds Havertz, who unselfishly heads back across goal for Werner to score with the simplest of tap-ins inside the six-yard area. Morecambe stand with their hands in the air appealing for offside but the assistant disagrees before VAR confirms Havertz was kept onside by Cooney at the far post.
42'
The hosts knock the ball about for two minues or so before Werner overhits a throughball to Mount and it goes out for a goal-kick. Lampard's men are enjoying a lot of possession but are still yet to test Halstead, barring Mount's goal and Emerson's long-range effort.
40'
Azpilicueta coasts down the right-hand side, finding Mount, whose cross gets ushered out for another corner by Knight-Percival. Rudiger, for the second time this half, then needlessly fouls inside the area and the chance goes away once more.
38'
Hudson-Odoi again escapes the attentions of Cooney, drilling towards the near post, where Davis blocks behind for a corner. Ziyech takes the outswinging corner but Havertz's meets the cross with a tame header and his effort goes wide.
37'
Stockton flicks a header on and Phillips, who has been the visitors' brightest spark, arrows a volley towards Kepa's left from inside the area. The Spaniard appears untroubled as he moves to his left and collects the effort before throwing out towards Azpilicueta on the right-hand side.
36'
Werner ghosts in at the back post and Ziyech acknowledges the German's run, crossing towards the far post but Davis stands tall to intercept before Songo'o hooks a clearance long.
34'
Azpilicueta needlessly fouls Davis and the visitors win a free-kick, which offers them some well-deserved respite and a chance to catch their breath. The breather lasts all of a minute, with Halstead launching long to the feet of Kepa, who restarts Chelsea's attacking play.
32'
Hudson-Odoi enjoys more space down the left-hand side, beating Cooney and driving a right-footed cross towards the near post, where Davis turns it behind. After a bit of pushing and shoving, referee England awards the visitors a free-kick and the chance to attack the corner goes amiss.
28'
Ziyech goes down the outside as he reaches the byline, crossing towards the back post with his right foot, where Cooney nods it behind for another corner to Chelsea.
26'
Hudson-Odoi and Mount launch a counter-attack, as the pair try to exchange one-twos on the edge of the visitors' area. Unfortunately for the hosts, the latter's pass races out of play and Morecambe earn the goal-kick.
25'
A rare free-kick comes for the visitors, however, they waste it as two players stray offside inside the Chelsea area. The set-piece does encourage the visitors though, as Phillips then drives them forward and earns a throw-in deep on the right-hand side.
24'
After a brief change of the ball, Mount gets the game back underway and plays resumes to its similar pattern, with the hosts dominating possession. Rudiger is then careless in his attempts to find Emerson and the ball races out of play to gift Adams' side a chance to regain possession.
21'
For the second time in as many corners, Rudiger towers above the visitors' defence to meet the corner but heads well over the bar from inside the area.
20'
Emerson goes wandering inside, finding Ziyech on the opposite wing. The hosts then work possession from side to side before the left-back's shot from 20 yards gets deflected behind for a corner.
18'
M. Mount has scored a goal for Chelsea! Assist by C. Hudson-Odoi.
GOALLLL!! 1-0 CHELSEA! Mount receives possession 25 yards from goal, no one comes to close him down and he drills a right-footed effort into the bottom left corner from range. Halstead is unsighted and can only watch it whistle past him into the back of the net.
Hudson-Odoi plays inside, instead of going down the line, and finds the feet of Mount, who opens the scoring from 25 yards out.
15'
Hudson-Odoi comes in from the left, curls a shot towards the far post but Songo'o blocks it behind for a corner. Rudiger then meets the hosts' set-piece and heads wide of Halstead's goal.
14'
Down the other end, Hudson-Odoi unselfishly opts to pass rather than shoot but finds no Chelsea shirt in the area. He has to be more selfish there instead of looking for Werner.
10'
Space opens up for Rudiger and he optimistically tries his luck from all of 40 yards, smashing into the first line of Morecambe's defence before it can trouble the goalkeeper. Ziyech then drifts in from the left and curls a cross straight into Halstead's hands.
8'
The Blues have started as expected, dominating proceedings and seeing a lot of the ball in the early stages. On this occasion, Mount's left-footed shot gets blocked outside the area before Emerson slices an effort from the edge of the D well wide of Halstead's goal.
6'
Hudson-Odoi races inside two players on the left-hand side and gets his head up, looking for Ziyech at the back post, but the English forward's right-footed cross is then far too strong and sails out of play.
5'
Ziyech dances inside Wildig and then with Azpilicueta overlapping, fires a left-footed pass out of play for a goal-kick. The Shrimps go long with the goal-kick and the hosts regain possession, through Zouma's domination in the air over Stockton.
2'
The visitors get on the front foot straight away, with Slew driving towards the edge of the hosts' area. Emerson intercepts, before putting Kepa under a bit of pressure with a poor pass backwards but the Spaniard eventually clears long.

Referee Darren England blows his whistle to get this FA Cup tie underway!
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the FA Cup third-round tie between Chelsea and Morecambe.
Frank Lampard’s side reached the final of this competition last year but come into this game in poor form, having won just one of their last seven games. Contrastingly, their visitors Morecambe, who sit three divisions below the Blues, are in excellent form, winning their last four League Two games on the bounce.
CHELSEA (4-3-3): Kepa Arrizabalaga; Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger, Kurt Zouma, Emerson; Billy Gilmour, Kai Havertz, Mason Mount; Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, Callum Hudson-Odoi.
SUBS: Christian Pulisic, Willy Caballero, Olivier Giroud, Faustino Anjorin, Ben Chillwell, Jorginho, Mateo Kovacic, Fikayo Tomori, Tammy Abraham.
MORECAMBE (4-2-3-1): Mark Halstead; Ryan Cooney, Nathaniel Knight-Percival, Harry Davis, Stephen Hendrie; Yann Songo’o, Aaron Wildig; Jordan Slew, Carlos Mendes Gomes, Adam Phillips; Cole Stockton.
SUBS: Jake Turner, Alex Kenyon, A-Jay Leitch-Smith, John O’Sullivan, Brad Lyons, Kelvin Mellor, Touman Diagouraga, Liam Gibson, Liam McAlinden.
The players are making their way onto the pitch at Stamford Bridge and shortly it will be time for kick-off.
With their two-goal lead, the Blues may look to rest and rotate a few players after the break. Lampard could call upon the likes of Abraham, Pulisic or Giroud to inflict further damage or give a rare opportunity to Anjorin off the bench. Adams will simply be asking for more of the same from his men, who have defended resolutely against a side of high quality.
That is all from this FA Cup third-round tie, until next time!
Chelsea go into the hat for the FA Cup fourth-round draw on Monday, but their attentions will turn back to the Premier League, where they sit in ninth and next face a trip to Fulham. The visitors, who are seventh in League Two, will next travel to Leyton Orient on Saturday, as they remain in pursuit of promotion to League One.
