Pozo is the latest man to be booked in these madcap final few minutes.
90' +2
G. Kondogbia enters the game and replaces L. Suárez.
Suarez will now leave as the clocks tick down with Geoffrey Kondogbia on for Atletico Madrid.
90' +1
Pedro León enters the game and replaces P. Diop.
S. Savić gets yellow.
Kike García gets yellow.
That is crushing for Eibar, who look almost certain to leave here empty-handed. But Atletico look to have snatched victory, perhaps not quite as deservedly as others have been for them. Pedro Leon replaces Diop for the hosts, and we'll have three added minutes.
Savic picks up a booking now, with a late yellow card.
Kike is also flashed a late yellow card, further adding to Eibar's woes.
89'
Penalty goal scored by L. Suárez for Atletico Madrid!
GOAL! LUIS SUAREZ MAKES IT 2-1 TO ATLETICO MADRID! It's the cheekiest of chips, straight down the middle, as the Uruguayan converts his penalty as Dmitrovic, so superb when called upon, goes too low to stop it. Have Eibar been bested at the last?
84'
It is Carrasco to take - and it is Carrasco who curls it over the crossbar. Dmitrovic likely had it covered, reading the movement well from behind his defensive wall.
82'
Anaitz Arbilla gets yellow.
Now this is dangerous territory for the hosts. Arbilla picks up a booking after he hacks down an Atletico break and the visitors have a free-kick on the edge of the penalty area's D. The Eibar man is furious with the call.
78'
Sergi Enrich enters the game and replaces Y. Muto.
Atletico smack a free-kick of their own in from distance and concede the goal-kick after a heavy-handed touch forces it out past the right post without any real danger.
77'
Muto has finally been taken, and he cracks a smile as he goes. Eibar bring on Sergio Enrich.
76'
Another Eibar free-kick scythed into the box, another Atletico clearance. This is a game there for the taking by a set-piece specialist, it almost feels.
75'
Muto now pounds an effort from distance, hoping to beat Oblak off his line, only to get the angle all wrong.
Minute
Description
74'
An Atletico free-kick skips straight to Dmitrovic from out on the left edge, though there may have been the risk of offside from some attackers regardless.
72'
Is there a winner in this? On the basis of the last 10 minutes, it would be Eibar who are the likelier of the two to find one. Diego Simeone is using surprisingly small gestures on the sidelines. His international-packed side need to get back in attack.
70'
Felipe concedes a sloppy foul on the edge of that final third again and once more Eibar loft a free-kick into the box. This one is industriously dealt with better than most others have been today.
65'
Joao Felix has become the focal point of attention for Eibar's defence today and the half-time substitute is yet to really flex his creative muscles as a result He could prove a matchwinner yet however.
63'
Exposito absolutely leathers the delivery and it sears a foot or so over the crossbar. A bit more dip and that could have been Eibar's second.
62'
Felipe gets yellow.
Felipe draws the yellow card about 40 yards or so out from his own goal for a silly little challenge there. This is a promising free-kick spot for the hosts.
60'
With just over a half-hour on the clock, it really is hanging in the balance this one. There's been no woodwork-rattling efforts since the break to speak of but this could easily go either way.
57'
Bigas concedes the foul as he looks to drive down the left edge, clipping close to the sidelines. He's not happy with the call against him, which arguably looked innocuous at worst.
53'
Right-back Pozo becomes the latest Eibar man to try his luck, slashing a finish over the crossbar. The hosts are not willing to lie down and surrender their point; more so, they're hunting all three.
50'
Muto - still on, despite that now near-perpetual stormy grimace - fires a loose effort in from distance, one that Oblak proves more than a match for.
48'
A moment of fleeting panic at the back for Atletico as Eibar ping a ball straight across the visitors' six-yard area. Nobody - in attack or defence - latches onto it and a nervy Gimenez sees it away.
46'
João Félix enters the game and replaces T. Lemar.
L. Torreira enters the game and replaces Á. Correa.
Lemar meanwhile has been hooked by Atletico, with Joao Felix on in his place.
The visitors have made two changes at the break as they look to swing momentum further their way. Lucas Torreira is on for Correa.
We're back underway for the second half in La Liga. Can Atletico work their way on to another winner? Or do Eibar have an ace up their sleeve to snatch a much-needed three points?
45' +1
HALF-TIME: EIBAR 1-1 ATLETICO MADRID
45'
We're in for one added minute before the break, as Inui wins a free-kick on halfway for a tough aerial challenge.
42'
That has lit a fire under Eibar's belly once more though. Firstly, Muto - still hobbling - gets close to the end of a vicious cross whipped between two defenders and then a follow-up ball requires some hasty clearance. This is a real contest.
40'
L. Suárez has scored a goal for Atletico Madrid! Assist by Marcos Llorente.
GOAL! LUIS SUAREZ LEVELS FOR ATLETICO MADRID! 1-1! Oh, that is not the way the hosts will have wanted to concede. The ex-Barcelona man charges down Alvarez's hurried clearance in the box, and sprays a finish across the six-yard area, burying it at the left post. All square again.
Llorente picks up an assist there, which seems generous at best. Suarez is the man with the invention from that deflection.
38'
Jose Luis Mendilibar is giving it his all on the touchline too. His side have switched off slightly in their midfield wrestle now and it is giving him cause for concern.
36'
Carrasco slaps an effort into the side netting now, going close for Atletico as he attempts to thread himself around the left edge to ultimate frustration.
34'
A half-chance rises for Diop now as an Eibar free-kick is turned towards the penalty box, but the midfielder is penalised for a push as he rises to notch a header on the ball.
28'
Diego Simeone cried out in heavenly anguish after that Correa near-miss. Atletico are holding their shape better now than in those earlier exchanges and they are dominating the ball for the most part.
24'
Atletico snap up a free-kick in midfield, but unlike Lemar's early effort floated into the box, fail to find serious purchase this time, allowing Eibar to bat their efforts away again.
22'
As soon as that happens, Vrsaljko carves open a lovely opportunity and wins his side the first corner of the game. Dmitrovic collects again and is bundled back into his own goal by Savic; a foul is naturally given.
18'
Of course, you'd back any side coached by Simeone to rally and there's a long way to go in this game, a match that isn't even a quarter-old yet. But Eibar are looking far smarter than they have in recent weeks.
16'
Back-to-back corners down the far end for Eibar now allow them to continue to build some pressure, and Atletico are less than convincing with their clearance. Shaky stuff from the visitors.
14'
That is a less than ideal start for Atletico, and they know it. Muto meanwhile has stayed on, though he remains grimacing. Lemar looks to respond with a free-kick into the Eibar box; Dmitrovic saves cleanly.
12'
Penalty goal scored by M. Dmitrović for Eibar!
GOAL! MARKO DMITROVIC HANDS EIBAR THE LEAD! 1-0! The perfect start on the scoreboard for the hosts as they draw first blood against the league leaders, with the goalkeeper converting from the penalty spot against his opposite number, sliding the finish in coolly at the left post.
11'
Muto is able to stand with eventual assistance but doesn't look in fantastic shape, hobbling away to the side. Meanwhile, in a rare sight, it is Eibar goalkeeper Dmitrovic brought down from the other end for spot-kick duty.
9'
Penalty to Eibar! The hosts snag an early spot-kick after Newcastle loanee Muto is caught in a tangle with Carrasco. The Atletico man doesn't so much foul him as slip in pursuit himself and fall onto the forward's legs.
7'
The visitors - in that eye-catching marshmallow-lemon concoction of a strip - respond however with their own deep push down the left flank. They'll hope to exploit the overlap at pace if they can.
5'
Eibar, playing right to left in this first half in their striking blue-and-red strip, are doing a good job at parsing out Atletico's five-man midfield. They're yet to force the wide men back in earnest yet though.
3'
Diego Simeone is already up, pacing the dugout like a caged tiger. The long-term Atletico boss remains one of the biggest figures in Spanish football and a second title would be richly earned.

We are underway in La Liga with this clash between Eibar and Atletico Madrid!
Hello and welcome to live coverage of La Liga's 2020-21 campaign, as leaders Atletico Madrid look to further stretch their advantage at the summit against Eibar at Ipurua Municipal Stadium.
Diego Simeone's side have two games in hand over nearest rivals Real Madrid heading into today's game and a four-point lead to boot. They're heavy favourites for a first crown since 2014 - but they know a slip-up is unacceptable.
Of course, it was Eibar who picked up the bragging rights in this very clash, one year and three days ago in La Liga. On that occasion, they ran out 2-0 winners - and they'll hope they can spring a similar shock today too.
That being said, any performance better than the one Eibar threw out against minnows Navalcarnero at the weekend in their Copa del Rey exit will be appreciated. They are really under the cosh right now.
The teams are out at Ipurua Municipal Stadium and we're moments away from kick-off.
The last time Atletico were top-tier champions, their hosts hoisted the Segunda Division title that same year. Jose Luis Mendilibar's team are in a relegation battle at this early juncture however, and could really do with three points to steady their ship.
Suarez, excommunicated from Barcelona, looks every bit the inspired buy today. It is a vital interjection into a game Atletico had struggled to crack so far. Simeone will be happy with that touch.
Jose Luis Mendilibar can tell his side to hold their head up high. That late penalty call for Suarez might have gone by ignored in another game and they may have earned a spot-kick of their own for that late Savic infringement. But they'll have to console themselves with knowing they can go toe-to-toe with the best. They should survive this season.
For the hosts then, Celta Vigo is next up at the weekend in La Liga, while for Atletico, a clash with Valencia awaits them. Until then however, thank you for joining us - and have a great week!
