Paulo Oliveira picks off Vitolo with a clumsy challenge and gets the first yellow card of the game.
86'
This is a particularly pedestrian final act, but neither side will surely mind. Both of them look to have their minds beyond the final whistle now.
84'
That makes it nine shots for Atletico and none for Eibar. If the hosts hadn't won today, they would have been bitterly disappointed.
80'
Jose Luis Mendilibar looks particularly forlorn, even as he barks out orders. His side have been outmatched, but more to the point, have failed to lodge a shot all game long. That's not a good look.
78'
Atletico have let the tempo drop a little - with a five-goal lead, they don't really need to be playing at the heights they have since the restart - and this game looks set to coast out. Simeone's changes have thrown the rhythm off.
76'
Where do Eibar go from here? They only dropped to the foot of La Liga for the first time this month but this has not been a showing that will give them hope of survival. They'll need to dust themselves off next time out.
74'
Felipe enters the game and replaces S. Savić.
Now Atletico make another swap, with Felipe replacing Stefan Savic.
72'
Quique González enters the game and replaces Kike García.
Recio enters the game and replaces Kévin Rodrigues.
Rafa Soares enters the game and replaces Cote.
Rafa Soares is also on for Eibar, replacing Cote.
Quique Gonzalez meanwhile replaces Kike for the visitors in their latest change.
Lastly, Recio replaces Kevin Rodrigues for the visitors.

Description
70'
L. Torreira enters the game and replaces Y. Carrasco.
Carrasco too is off for the hosts with Lucas Torreira on in his place.
69'
G. Kondogbia enters the game and replaces H. Herrera.
Herrera makes way for Geoffrey Kondogbia in Atletico's latest change.
68'
Marcos Llorente has scored a goal for Atletico Madrid! Assist by Y. Carrasco.
GOAL! MARCOS LLORENTE HAS TWO FOR ATLETICO MADRID! 5-0! This has got very messy for Eibar. Carrasco is allowed to slip in on the left and pulls the ball back in a similar fashion as Correa did for Llorente earlier. This time, the striker meets it early, turns on a pivot and drills it home. Lovely stuff.
Carrasco has been a superb part of this Atletico revival from the 40th minute onward. He looks set to depart shortly but nabs another assist for his creative efforts.
63'
Paulo Oliveira enters the game and replaces Unai Dufur.
Dufur is off for the visitors too with Paulo Oliveira on in his place.
62'
T. Inui enters the game and replaces Aleix García.
Eibar respond with their own changes, as Aleix Garcia makes way for Takashi Inui.
61'
Vitolo enters the game and replaces Koke.
M. Dembélé enters the game and replaces Á. Correa.
Koke is also off for the hosts, with Vitolo on in his place.
Moussa Dembele is the first new face of the game as Atletico make a change, with Correa bowing out after a superb match-changing turn.
59'
Sergio Alvarez trims down Lodi and Atletico have a free-kick from distance. Carrasco lashes it in and a flag goes up for offside in the box, but the delivery itself isn't too far away from the right post.
57'
Simeone continues to bark orders out wide with aplomb. It doesn't matter that his side have four goals, he wants more from them.
55'
Surely the next objective is a clean sheet for the hosts? They're cruising up front, and the visitors are still yet to clock a shot, but that would be the cherry on the cake.
53'
Marcos Llorente has scored a goal for Atletico Madrid! Assist by Á. Correa.
GOAL! MARCOS LLORENTE MAKES IT FOUR FOR ATLETICO MADRID! 4-0! The striker has one of the softest goals of the game, as Correa cuts into the left edge of the box and pulls a ball back. Eibar's defence let it tumble between them and the attacker is there to crash onto it a dozen yards out and rifle home.
Two goals and an assist? It's been a good day at the office for Correa. He was the spark to ignite this Atletico performance and he's now laying on finishes for all his friends.
51'
Diego Simeone couldn't ask for a better start to the second half there, could they? They're surely going to keep first place in La Liga. Their destiny remains firmly in their own hands.
49'
Y. Carrasco has scored a goal for Atletico Madrid! Assist by Saúl.
GOAL! YANNICK CARRASCO WITH A CHEEKY THIRD FOR ATLETICO MADRID! 3-0! Eibar have been caught out by a spectacular long ball for the midfielder, and he cuts around Dmitrovic, out at the edge of his box, before beating out two backpedalling defenders to tap home. The hosts are surely home and dry.
Saul is the man with that absolute blinder of a delivery. Eibar will have to make sure their heads don't drop or this could get messy.
48'
Some panicked defending from Eibar fails to clear the immediate danger of a lurking Atletico high press, but the ball eventually runs out for a goal-kick.
46'
We're back under way in Madrid. Will it be plain sailing for Atletico from here or can Eibar spring a surprise?
45'
HALF-TIME: ATLETICO MADRID 2-0 EIBAR
44'
Á. Correa has scored a goal for Atletico Madrid! Assist by Y. Carrasco.
GOAL! ANGEL CORREA HAS A DOUBLE FOR ATLETICO MADRID! 2-0! It's two in two minutes for the striker and that could well be game over for Eibar! A lovely break comes down the left flank, and Carrasco edges it across the box. The forward seizes it, turns around the defender on a dime and nudges it past Dmitrovic at the far post. Lovely stuff.
Carrasco has done some fine work shrugging off defenders himself to keep that ball alive, but Eibar should do better to shut Correa down. That will frustrate them; this match could be beyond their grasp.
42'
Á. Correa has scored a goal for Atletico Madrid! Assist by H. Herrera.
GOAL! ANGEL CORREA FINDS THE OPENER FOR ATLETICO MADRID! 1-0! With half-time in sight, the hosts have struck! A corner falls for them which lands closer to the near-right post, Saul pushes it on with a lovely heeled effort and the forward is there to smuggle home at the left side. First blood is taken.
Herrera gets the assist there from the delivery, but it looked like Saul definitely had a glancing touch. Regardless of who gets it, Atletico have their lead. Diego Simeone looks delighted.
40'
This is great stuff from Atletico - or at least markedly more alive - and Llorente now feeds Herrera for a shot outside the box after the striker is crowded out in the area himself. Something may be coming here.
36'
That seems to have ignited something in Atletico; while they've made metres today with some long balls, now they are crafting smart moves down both wings as they look to build up some momentum.
31'
Eibar are looking a little bit more inventive around the final third now - Pozo in particular is making a solid threat - but Atletico can cut them open so easily. It's a tough balancing act.
27'
Any noise Diego Simeone makes, Jose Luis Mendilibar is there to counter for his side. The Eibar man is hollering at his side as they almost make a hash of an Atletico corner, with Dmitrovic taking a blow to the head in the struggle.
25'
Back-to-back corners ultimately emerge for Eibar but once again, they fail to register a serious inconvenience to the Atletico defensive line. Jan Oblak could be in for a quieter game that expected.
24'
Llorente is now flagged for offside after Trippier nudged a delivery through. Eibar respond by going down the other end and winning themselves a corner in the process.
22'
Halfway into the first half, we're yet to see a proper shot from either side though. There's a bit of niggle in midfield - Saul has been involved in the odd scrappy tackle - but so far, entertainment is at a premium in front of goal.
20'
The set-piece is duly dealt with easily enough by that impressive Atletico defence, but an early sign for Simeone's side to keep their wits about them at the back.
18'
Eibar with their first half-chance of the game - a flat square pass zipped across the Atletico box on a counter-attack - which they then follow up with a corner. Better stuff from the visitors.
16'
There's been enough signs to suggest Atletico should find what they want from this game, but Eibar are not going to be quiet in this contest either. What can they do to cause trouble for their hosts?
14'
Llorente! That's a golden chance for Atletico, the ball fed straight through to the striker with a lovely spot of interplay near the edge of the box, but Arbilla steams in from nowhere before he can tee it up to clear away.
12'
Now it is Kike who draws the foul for the visitors 35 or so yards out from Atletico's penalty area. Eibar don't go the direct route from the set-piece and are punished for it by some fast defence from the hosts.
10'
Alvarez drags Lodi back with the most lazy of touches - a stray arm that really doesn't warrant the joint reaction from both men falling to the turf. The free-kick is pumped into the Eibar box and Dmitrovic is safe beneath it.
8'
Diego Simeone, as always, is in vocal form out on the sidelines. This really is a must-win for his side's title hopes; defeat today would open the door to Real Madrid, who face Getafe later, to vault them to the summit.
6'
The set-piece, played short, comes to nothing for the hosts but Llorente swings another cross in a moment later that needs clearing on the right flank. The second corner is pretty poor too and Eibar sturdily see it off.
4'
Just like that, Atletico promptly spring into action and cut Eibar open. A long ball wide to the left flank is cut back in for Llorente and Arbilla does enough to get inside the delivery to deflect it out at the left post for a corner.
3'
It's a relatively cautious opening set of exchanges from both sides, with the hosts content to let their underdog visitors make some ground as they test each other out.
1'
We are under way in LaLiga in this clash between Atletico Madrid and Eibar!
If it's not followed the plan for the hosts though, spare a thought for their visitors, who hit the foot of the table for the first time this season last matchweek. Jose Luis Mendilibar's side need the points just as much as their hosts do - which sets up an enthralling contest.

Hello and welcome to live coverage of LaLiga's 2020-21 campaign, as league leaders Atletico Madrid look to stave off their title rivals with victory over rock-bottom Eibar at Wanda Metropolitano.
Where has it all gone wrong for Diego Simeone's side? Halfway through the campaign, they were eight points clear at the summit and looked to be cruising to a second league title of the Argentine coach's reign. Now, they're embroiled in a title fight with two teams in far better form than them.
In a more promising statistic for the hosts, Atletico are unbeaten in their six home Liga games against Eibar.
Eibar are looking to halt their worst run in the top-flight today too; they are winless in their last 13 games in La Liga.
The teams are out and we're moments away from kick-off.
Diego Simeone would have likely had a very different team talk before the final five minutes of this half, but that brace has shifted the trajectory of the whole game. He'll be very happy with where they are now.
Next time out though, Granada awaits Eibar. As for Atletico? They have Huesca to deal with. Until then, thank you for joining us - and have a great week!
It was far from a classic, but Atletico won't care. Eibar will, and unfortunately that piles the pressure on them. They have seven games to save their skins in La Liga.
