The match is underway as Apollon take on Everton in the Europa League.
Hello and welcome to tonight's live text commentary of Apollon vs Everton from the Europa League. Unfortunately, neither of these two teams can qualify tonight but the Toffees will be hoping to produce an improved performance after a disastrous European campaign so far.
Everton sit bottom of Group E after picking up just one point, while Apollon do not fair much better on three. The two sides played out a 2-2 draw in their last meeting at Goodison Park and Everton will be without boss Sam Allardyce tonight. The former England coach is back at home after a "pre-arranged medical appointment" and Duncan Ferguson and Craig Shakespeare are in charge this evening.
Apollon come into the contest in good form with three wins in five matches and they beat Paphos 6-0 last week. Everton are also on the up and back-to-back wins have lifted everyone on Merseyside after a nervous few months. Allardyce's troops were too strong for West Ham last Saturday and a 2-0 win will stand them in good stead tonight.
Apollon boss Sofronis Augousti makes seven changes to his team from the win over Paphos. Only Roberge, Allan, Joao Pedro and Papoulis retain their places.
It's 11 changes for the Toffees as Allardyce focuses on the Premier League. Henry Charsley and Fraser Hornby are making their first-team debuts while none of Everton's subs have ever made a first-team appearance.
Not long to go until kick-off as the two teams make their way onto the field of play.
HALF-TIME - Apollon 0-2 Everton.
Boos ring around the ground as the home fans show their disgust for the penalty decision. However, they have been second best after a strong opening from Everton. Lookman could easily grab his hat-trick tonight and both Mirallas and Vlasic have been a real threat on the counter attack.
FULL-TIME - Apollon 0-3 Everton.
Everton's youngsters ensure they do not finish bottom of Group E and that was a solid performance from a make-shift team. With nothing to play for, Everton dug deep and proved they should have done better in the Europa League this season.
That ends our coverage for tonight's game, thanks for joining us! Goodbye!
Two goals from Lookman and a strike from Vlasic see them end their European campaign on a high and all the attention is now on the derby on Sunday. While the majority of the players will be dropped, there were some really strong displays from the future generation with Lookman grabbing the plaudits. A place on the bench could have just been won and his flair may cause the Reds problems.
