Minute
Description
81'
Milan are starting to be a little sloppy as we approach the latter stages of the game. Crotone could yet find an equaliser.
78'
There's just over 10 minutes left to play here and neither side are really creating much. Milan are on top but haven't been able to carve open an opportunity to put this game to bed. Crotone remain toothless.
76'
N. Kalinić enters the game and replaces P. Cutrone.
S. Nwankwo enters the game and replaces A. Budimir.
Crotone make their second change, with Ante Budimir being replaced by Simy.
Milan's first change of the afternoon sees Patrick Cutrone replaced by Nikola Kalinić.
73'
Nice build up play from Milan and Calhangolu is guilty of missing what was arguably one of their best chances of the game, missing the ball completely with the goal at his mercy.
70'
Crotone have a chance on the right from the set-piece but they are unable to make much of it. The away side have still yet to really threaten Milan.
67'
Milan are starting to cause a few problems with their crosses and it takes a last ditch clearance to prevent Cutrone latching onto this one at the back post. Another Milan corner comes in from the left wing but it is punched well clear by Cordaz.
64'
G. Crociata enters the game and replaces M. Rohdén.
Marcus Rohdén is replaced by Giovanni Crociata.
63'
Almost! Crotone create an attack of their own and Ante Budimir is inches away from latching onto the rebound from Trotta's low shot.
60'
Unbelievable! A jubilant Milan thought they had their second when Bonucci's headed lay-off found Kessie to fire low into the bottom corner. It looked to have been given but the referee says no goal after watching a video replay.
57'
Milan have the bit between their teeth now as they push for the second goal to kill this game as a contest. A cross is swung in deep, where Cutrone is at the back post to head it back across the face of goal. Cordaz is off his line to collect before Kessie can latch onto it.
54'
L. Bonucci has scored a goal for AC Milan!
GOAL! Milan get their breakthrough and it is Leonardo Bonucci who scores it. Cordaz, who has been impressive all afternoon, completely misses the corner kick and the Milan defender only has to allow the ball to drop into his head and direct it goalwards for his first goal for the club.
52'
Milan cannot find any route through this crowded Crotone penalty area so far and they get another corner. This one swings out of play before it reaches anyone. Goal kick.
49'
Suso tests Cordaz at his near post with a rising shot, but the goalkeeper can comfortably palm it away for a corner, which comes to nothing.
48'
Marcello Trotta is guilty of lingering on the ball for too long and finds himself in trouble outside his own box. He does well to hold the ball up though and wins a free-kick for his troubles.
46'
The second half is underway!
45'
L. Biglia gets yellow.
The fourth official has indicated two minutes of additional time.
Lucas Biglia receives a yellow card.
42'
Milan are turning up the heat and barely a minute after that previous chance Suso's low curling effort bounces through the crowded box and strikes off the inside of the left post before bouncing away from goal. They are getting closer and Crotone could be in for a rough final few minutes here.
41'
Another chance for Milan but this time it is well saved by Cordaz, who had to dive to punch away Lucas Biglia's half volley from the edge of the box.
40'
Close! A brilliant delivery by Davide Calabria from the right wing is met with the head of Cutrone. He generates plenty of power but completely lacks the accuracy, firing it very wide of the right post. Better from Milan though.
38'
Sloppy passes are starting to creep into both sides now. Neither are able to create much rhythm around the midfield area.
35'
The delivery was decent but it is well cleared by Crotone. The ball isn't fully away though and Kessie tries a half-volley from the left, which dips just over the crossbar.
34'
Milan with a free-kick now, around 30 yards from the Crotone box. Can they make something of this?
31'
Crotone are giving a good account of themselves in this half. They have yet to pose Milan any problems in terms of creating chances but they are certainly going toe to toe with them everywhere else on the pitch.
28'
That earlier Calhanoglu chance seems to have revitalized the Milan forwards a little bit. The home side are attacking with a bit more pace and purpose now, with a cross from the right wing forcing Federico Ceccherini into a last ditch clearance on the stretch.
25'
The counter looks lost for Milan but Calhanoglu pounces upon the loose ball and shows electric pace to dart into the box. He creates space for a shot but his goalbound effort is well saved by Cordaz and the Crotone defenders can clear again.
23'
There hasn't been much attacking action in these past 10 minutes or so. Milan seem to have lost the attacking edge they were showing in the opening stages and Crotone will be happy with their performance so far.
20'
R. Mandragora gets yellow.
Rolando Mandragora is booked for a foul on Kessie.
19'
That could have been one! Suso chips in a delightful pass over the top of the Crotone defenders. Calhanoglu is waiting at the back post for the tap in but Cutrone rises high ahead of him and directs a header skyward, looping into the grateful hands of Cordaz. The Milan striker tells his forward partner he didn't hear him after understandable complaints.
16'
Another cross from the left wing and this time it is an easy catch for Cordaz. The game has eased off a bit as Crotone continue to grow into it.
13'
Crotone finally see a bit of the ball but they are unable to do anything with it. They work their way into the attacking half before Andrea Barberis can only overrun the ball on the wing and commit a foul.
10'
It is wave after wave of Milan attack here and a poor clearance causes mayhem in the box. Crotone get bodies in the way to prevent the route to goal though.
7'
Milan come forward again but this time the cross from the left evades the touch of two players before Crotone can hammer it clear. They look like creating a chance every time they reach the final third here.
4'
Milan have started well on the front foot in these opening stages. Crotone have been a bit ponderous in possession when they do get hold of the ball here, a mistake that the home side are all too happy to pounce upon.
2'
Milan fashion a chance with their first foray forward! Patrick Cutrone chests the ball down on the edge of the box into the feet of Suso, but the winger's strike is weak and it rolls harmlessly into the hands of Alex Cordaz.

We're underway!
Good afternoon and welcome to our live text commentary of today’s Serie A game between AC Milan and Crotone at the Giuseppe Meazza.
Milan have suffered an underwhelming season so far in the Serie A after some big spending in the summer, sitting 11th, only 10 points above today’s opponents Crotone. The Rossoneri have won only one of their previous four league fixtures, which included a 3-0 away loss to Verona and a 2-0 defeat at home to Atalanta.
Gennaro Gattuso’s side have kept their progress in the Coppa Italia intact though, beating fierce rivals Inter courtesy of Patrick Cutrone’s extra time goal. This game represents a chance for Milan to find their feet again in what will be the Serie A curtain raiser for January 2018. They have won two of the three matches they have played against Crotone in Serie A and recorded over 80% possession in their previous meeting earlier this season.
Crotone are very much in a relegation battle as they sit 18th in the table, having won only one of their previous eight fixtures, a 1-0 home win against Chievo, as well as being knocked out of the Coppa Italia by Genoa. A win today could give themselves some breathing space from the drop zone but they might face a difficult task against a Milan side desperate for a win themselves.
Manager Walter Zenga will be missing a handful of players for today’s game, with defenders Stefan Simic, Leandro Cabrera and Daniel Pavlovic all out injured. They will be joined on the sidelines by winger Andrea Nalini and forward Aleksandar Tonev.
There’s just over 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this afternoon…
Milan XI (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Calabria, Bonucci, Romagnoli, Rodriguez; Kessie, Biglia, Bonaventura; Suso, Cutrone, Calhanoglu.
Milan substitutes: Gabriel, Kalinic, Silva, Borini, Gomez, Zapata, Montolivo, Musacchio, Zanellato, Gabbia, Locatelli, Antonio Donnarumma.
There are only two changes to the Milan side that drew 1-1 with Fiorentina last time out, with Riccardo Montolivo being replaced by Franck Kessle in midfield. The other change sees Fabio Borini replaced by Hakan Calhanoglu on the left wing.
Crotone also make two changes, both in defence, from the side that lost 1-0 to Napoli. Stefan Simic and Davide Faraoni are replaced by Arlind Ajeti and Mario Sampirisi respectively.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
HALF-TIME: MILAN-CROTONE.
Level at the break and Milan will be frustrated they did not get a goal while they were on top. The home side were mostly tame but had that moments of magic at the start and end of the second half, with Suso's strike being tipped onto the left post being the closest they came to scoring. Crotone have defended well throughout but they themselves have been toothless in attack so far, showing nothing to suggest they could snatch a winner.
The players are coming back out onto the pitch, ahead of the start of the second half.
FULL-TIME: MILAN 1-0 CROTONE.
It wasn't a pretty win by any means by Milan but they got the job done. Leonardo Bonucci's goal separated in what was mostly an even contest, although the home side did have two goals ruled out for offside and a foul respectively. Crotone offered little going forward until the dying stages of the game, where Ceccherini and Mandragora missed good chances to snatch an equaliser. The win means Milan climb to 10th, while Crotone remain 18th.
