Patricio looks in a bit of pain, but will carry on. We’re into three minutes of added time.
FULL TIME: PORTUGAL 3-0 ALGERIA
90'
WHAT A SAVE! That’s brilliant from Patricio, who tips Bounedjah’s powerful header over. He landed awkwardly, though, and is now clutching his calf.
89'
A big deflection off Guedes very nearly gives Algeria that consolation, as Patricio is left scrambling to his near post to ensure the ball nestles into the side-netting.
88'
Algeria are searching for a consolation, but Portugal’s defence remain untested. It has been a far too easy night for the hosts’, whose only disappointment will be that they haven’t added to their lead.
85'
H. Soudani enters the game and replaces I. Slimani.
A third substitution for Algeria sees the disappointing Islam Slimani make way for Hillel El Arbi Soudani.
83'
NO GOAL! Well, having initially allowed the goal to stand, referee Craig Pawson - with the assistance of VAR - has ruled it out, due to a handball from Guedes in the build-up.
80'
There is little rhythm to this game now, with those substitutions meaning both sides are still trying to settle into some slightly altered systems.
78'
This victory will give Portugal plenty of confidence heading into the Spain clash. Should they upset the odds and beat their Iberia neighbours, Santos’ side will be in pole position to win Group B, although Morocco - moreso than Iran - will be a tough opponent.
75'
João Mário enters the game and replaces João Moutinho.
A sixth change from Santos sees Joao Moutinho replaced by Joao Mario, who played a crucial role in Portugal’s Euro 2016 triumph, but is by no means a guaranteed starter heading into the World Cup.
74'
André Silva enters the game and replaces Cristiano Ronaldo.
A standing ovation from the Portugal faithful now, as Cristiano Ronaldo - who made his 150th cap today - makes way for AC Milan forward Andre Silva. The forward could not mark his landmark appearance with a goal, but did manage to produce a stunning assist for Portugal’s second of the night.
Minute
Description
72'
Algeria certainly have some quality in their ranks, with Brahimi and Mahrez having shown flashes of skill and clever movement, while Bentaleb has excelled in the Bundesliga with Schalke. However, they have simply not been up to scratch today.
71'
B. Bounedjah enters the game and replaces C. Medjani.
A second change from Algeria boss Rabah Madjer, who also seems to have switched to a 4-4-2. Midfielder Carl Medjani is off, with forward Baghdad Bounedjah coming on to partner Islam Slimani.
69'
Quaresma has been in the thick of it since his introduction, with his pace and strength presenting a different type of threat to Bernardo Silva’s craft and guile.
67'
Portugal have a real blend of youth and experience in this squad, and based on tonight’s showing, albeit against a poor side, Santos may have some tough decisions to make ahead of their opener against Spain. Despite Andre Silva having partnered Ronaldo in qualifying, Guedes’ performance tonight must have put the youngster in with a shout of a start, while Fernandes - who usually misses out to Joao Mario - has also looked sharp whether playing centrally or out on the left.
64'
Ricardo Quaresma enters the game and replaces William Carvalho.
Adrien Silva enters the game and replaces Bernardo Silva.
There will be no change in shape from Santos, however, with William Carvalho the other player to make way. Ricardo Quaresma is his replacement, and the veteran will take up a position on the right, with Adrien Silva taking Carvalho’s place in the centre of the park.
Another coupled of changes now for the hosts. First, Bernardo Silva - who has impressed down the right - makes way for Adrien Silva, who had a stuttering start to his life at Leicester City last term following his arrival from Sporting CP.
63'
Moutinho, who has enjoyed a resurgence of form at Monaco this past season, looks to hook a raking pass over the top, but generates too much power on it, and Salhi - despite an awkward slip - manages to collect it.
59'
CLOSE! That could have been the hat-trick for Guedes! Carvalho powered a pass into Fernandes, who used the pace on the ball to turn it towards Guedes, but the youngster’s strike was blocked brilliantly by Mandi.
57'
Mário Rui enters the game and replaces Raphaël Guerreiro.
M. Benkhemassa enters the game and replaces S. Boukhanchouche.
José Fonte enters the game and replaces Bruno Alves.
Santos has followed that goal up with a double substitution. First, Bruno Alves is replaced by fellow veteran defender Jose Fonte.
There has also been a first change of the game from the visitors - Salim Boukhanchouche, who has struggled in midfield, replaced by Mohamed Benkhemassa.
Raphael Guerreiro’s night is also over. He has made way for Mario Rui, having just capped off a decent display with an assist.
55'
Gonçalo Guedes has scored a goal for Portugal! Assist by Raphaël Guerreiro.
WHAT A GOAL! GUEDES HAS HIS SECOND! That is sensational from the youngster, who has doubled his tally with a thumping header from Guerreiro’s cross. Portugal 3-0 Algeria.
That header from Guedes was quite something, but credit must also go to left-back Guerreiro, who delivered a quality cross into the centre of the box.
53'
SO CLOSE! Another chance for Ronaldo, as he races down the left-hand side of the six-yard box and prods an effort goalwards. Salhi again comes out on top, although Guedes is just inches away from tucking in the rebound.
52'
At the third time of trying, Ronaldo manages to get a free-kick over the wall and on target. Salhi, however, is equal to it.
50'
Silva puts a teasing cross into the six-yard box following a quick free-kick. Salhi gets to it, but can only push it back into the path of the onrushing Ronaldo. However, Algeria’s goalkeeper recovers to deny the Madrid superstar.
49'
Guedes has been the star of the show so far, and he could have had an assist with a brilliant first-time chip into Silva, but the winger couldn’t quite bring the ball down. He instead turns it back to Cedric, whose cross is deflected out for a corner.
47'
S. Boukhanchouche gets yellow.
A second booking of the game for Algeria, as Boukhanchouche dives in high on Guedes. Ronaldo tries his luck from the resulting free-kick, but the wall does its job.
46'
We are back up and running for the second half! No changes for either side at the interval.
45'
HALF-TIME: PORTUGAL 2-0 ALGERIA
44'
CHANCE! Rapid counter-attacking play from Portugal, as Guedes does well to shrug off a challenge and play a clever pass to Fernandes, who looks to flick the ball back into Ronaldo’s path. The playmaker’s connection is poor, though, and Algeria scramble it clear.
42'
Excellent interplay between Mahrez and Brahimi, as the Leicester star turns a clever backheel into his team-mate. Brahimi cuts inside and plays a one-two with Slimani before getting a shot off, which Pepe deflects wide for a corner.
39'
R. Bensebaïni gets yellow.
Ronaldo almost turns provider again with a slick pass into Silva, but the winger can only skew his effort across the face of goal. In the build-up, Bensebaini dived in late on Guedes, with referee Pawson showing the defender a booking after the advantage had been played.
37'
Bruno Fernandes has scored a goal for Portugal! Assist by Cristiano Ronaldo.
GOAL! FERNANDES MAKES IT 2-0! Wonderful, wonderful play from Ronaldo, who drives down the left before thumping in an exquisite first-time cross. The delivery is inch-perfect and, this time, Fernandes connects well with his header, duly tucking home his first Portugal goal!
Ronaldo has looked slightly leggy at times, but that was world class. On the run, the 33-year-old managed to scoop in a pinpoint cross, and Feranndes was presented with a simple header.
33'
Guerreiro has not been heavily involved in an attacking sense so far, but the Borussia Dortmund man just delivered an excellent cross that Salhi, under pressure from Guedes, did well to collect close to his goal. Portugal are in again moments later, but Ronaldo is flagged offside.
31'
Wonderful skill from Brahimi gets him away from his marker, and he quickly tees up Mahrez. The Leicester winger squares up and looks to drill in a cross, which is blocked, but he recovers possession and does well to win a free-kick. His resulting set-piece is a poor one, however.
29'
That change in shape from Portugal has allowed Algeria to finally get something of a foothold in the game - Brahimi drifting over from the left to dictate the play and Mahrez, who has been anonymous so far, finding space in the right-hand channel.
27'
Portugal have an array of talent at their disposal on the bench, as well. Santos often used a 4-4-2 during qualification, with Ronaldo and Andre Silva leading the line. And the home side now appear to have switched back to that formation, having initially started with a 4-3-3. Guedes is partnering Ronaldo up top, with Fernandes and Silva occupying the flanks.
25'
Algeria have been abysmal on the ball, and have not managed to prevent Portugal bursting forward at will when out of possession, either. They are fortunate not to be further behind, and playing like this, it's no wonder they didn't make it to the World Cup.
22'
Another opportunity goes begging for Portugal, as Ronaldo threads a wonderful reverse pass into Fernandes, whose first-time cut-back is blocked before the Madrid man can make contact. Algeria can't get close at the moment.
20'
More mazy play from Silva, who combines with Fernandes to cut a neat cross back into the area. Carvalho had made a rare burst into the box to try and meet it, but an Algeria defender gets there first.
19'
CHANCE! Ronaldo gets one-on-one with the Algeria goalkeeper before unleashing a powerful strike from an acute angle. Salhi clearly got a touch to send the ball into the side-netting, but referee Pawson fails to spot it and instead awards a goal-kick.
17'
Gonçalo Guedes has scored a goal for Portugal! Assist by Bernardo Silva.
GOAL! IT'S 1-0 TO PORTUGAL! It’s a deserved lead for the hosts, as Silva brilliantly tees up Paris Saint-Germain youngster Guedes, who made no mistake with a superb first-time finish.
Silva is undoubtedly the main playmaker for Portugal heading into this tournament, and the Manchester City winger showed his quality there with a perfectly-cushioned header straight into Guedes’ path.
16'
A first attack from Algeria, as Brahimi looks to play in Boukhanchouche, but Patricio is off his line to smother the danger - albeit he takes a knock for his troubles.
13'
Portugal are flooding forward in numbers - Carvalho’s position as the anchor allowing the entire side to push forward as he does. The Sporting CP man is vital to how Santos’ side play, and his form will be crucial heading into that crunch opener against Spain in Sochi.
11'
Poor from Fernandes! The midfielder made a superb run into the box, evading the attention of any Algeria defender, but jumped too early when attempting to latch onto a cross from the right, only managing to head the ball away from goal.
9'
No goal! The ball is in the back of the net - with Ronaldo having thumped a low finish into the left-hand corner - but it won’t count. The forward had just strayed offside before latching onto Fernandes’ neat throughball.
7'
A first siting of goal for Ronaldo, who sized up his options before unleashing a low effort from around 25 yards out. Salhi, though, was never troubled as the ball sailed wide.
6'
Ronaldo is leading Portugal’s line, but the Madrid forward is often drifting out to the left and dropping a bit deeper to get on the ball. That is not a problem, however, with Guedes and Silva helping for a fluid attacking trio. Moutinho is also looking to drive forward at every opportunity, and the Monaco man has just delivered a fine cross that Medjani did well to clear.
4'
It appears that Algeria are actually lining up in a more traditional 4-3-3 system, with Brahimi and Mahrez flanking Slimani, who spent three successful seasons at Sporting CP in Portugal's top flight. Bensebaini has tucked into the defence, with Ferhat deployed in a holding role in the midfield.
2'
Straight from the off, Silva shows his quality with a brilliant run, ultimately drawing a clumsy foul from Medjani. Ronaldo thumps a low free-kick under the wall, and Salhi is forced to rush off his line and divert Moutinho's follow-up wide.
1'
Kick-off! Referee Craig Pawson sounds his whistle, and Portugal get proceedings up and running.
Hello and welcome to LIVE coverage of Portugal’s final pre World Cup friendly, with Fernando Santos’ side welcoming Algeria to Estadio da Luz.
Current European champions Portugal kick-off their World Cup campaign against neighbours Spain in eight days’ time, with Iran and Morocco filling the other two places in Group B.
Algeria have not qualified for this year’s showpiece in Russia, but they will present a decent test this evening, with Riyad Mahrez and captain Yacine Brahimi - who plies his trade in Portugal with Primeira Liga champions Porto - offering their key attacking threats.
Portugal have drawn both of their pre-tournament friendlies previous to this clash, against Tunisia and Belgium respectively. They did that without Cristiano Ronaldo, however, with the Real Madrid star having been given a break following Los Blancos’ Champions League triumph, but the 33-year-old is back in the starting XI tonight.
Portugal (4-2-3-1): Rui Patricio; Cedric Soares, Pepe, Bruno Alves, Raphael Guerreiro; William Carvalho, Joao Moutinho; Bernardo Silva, Bruno Fernandes, Goncalo Guedes; Cristiano Ronaldo.
Algeria substitutes: Baghdad Bounedjah, Farid El Melanie, Mohammed Naamani, Ismael Bennacer, Ali Lakroum, Toufik Moussaoui, Farouk Chafai, Hillel Soudani, Mohamed Benkhemassa, Fawzi Chaouchi, Islam Arous, Mokhtar Belkhiter.
Portugal substitutes: Manuel Fernandes, Jose Fonte, Andre Silva, Joao Mario, Anthony Lopes, Ruben Dias, Ricardo Pereira, Gelson Martins, Mario Rui, Beto, Adrien Silva.
We're just moments away from kick-off in Lisbon...
After a slight delay, the anthems are done, and now we're ready for kick-off. Portugal will be looking to cap off their tournament preparations with a win in front of a big crowd at Estadio da Luz.
Half-time in Lisbon, with Portugal deservedly ahead thanks to goals from Guedes and Fernandes. The European champions have been by far the better side, with Algeria offering little threat throughout the first half, and it could easily be a more emphatic lead if not for some wasteful finishing.
It has been far too easy for Portugal, and although the home side have looked sharp, they will have been looking for a sterner test than the one Algeria have presented so far. Santos will likely turn to his bench in the second half, with the likes of Joao Mario, Andre Silva, Adrien Silva and Gelson Martins all in need of some minutes.
There was no goal for Ronaldo on his 150th appearance for Portugal, but nevertheless the Euro 2016 winners now head into the World Cup with a confident display under their belts. They will face Spain in Sochi in eight days’ time.
It’s all over in Lisbon, where Guedes’ double - either side of Fernandes’ first international goal - has sealed a convincing win for Portugal in their final pre-World Cup friendly.
